A fantastic local coffee shop with fantastic drinks and food

This is my favorite place to shop in the Dundee area. The Uncommon Palate has a great selection of unique food and beverage items. A few of my favorite items are the hot espresso (they make it from this crazy ornate espresso machine), the beer, and the cheese (sooo good)! The owner Lisa is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. My first visit she showed me a new snack, it was a soft brie cheese, jalapeno jam, and some thin wafer type crackers.. I am now hooked, it's an amazing combination, really fun stuff over there, give them a try, you won't regret it!

Stopped in Sunday during the Artisan Fair. I enjoyed a delicious piece of the veggie quiche, it was a generous serving and had fresh fruit as a side. I also had a very well flavored chai latte, the best I have in years. Had a welcoming calm feeling. I got some Burbon Praline Coffee to take home to Florida. Will definitely be back the next time I am in town.

Quaint locally run coffee shop with a lot of character and nice staff.

A very quiet and quaint artisan food store filled with high-end olive oils, coffees, wine, local honey and baked goods as well. The quality of confectionery and culinary products they carry seems to be quite high, though it's a bit expensive in my opinion. The store also feels like it's overstuffed with goods and perhaps a little cramped. It might not be to my liking, but I encourage people to visit; they have a coffee bar, so you can grab a coffee and a cannoli just to check it out.

I purchased all of my parents Christmas gifts here, I can't wait for them to open them! Such a great shop for specialty food items and gifts. There are so many things to choose from it's hard not to buy them all! There is a huge range of items including soup mixes, beer, wine, cheese, fresh dairy, sauces, spices, olive oil & soaps just to name a few. I can't wait to come back when I have more time to look around and have a coffee!

Came last night for the dot art event and had the best time! The owner and instructor were very friendly and kind, and my chai latte was delicious! Such a cute a place! Can't wait to visit again!

It's a nice shop.
Picked up coffee and bagel for me and my wife. Walked around the area.
Give 'em a try next time you want to try something different.
Support local businesses once in a while vs your usual Starbucks and/or Panera and/or Dunkin Donuts.
I've nothing against Starbucks, Panera, or Dunkin Donuts. I'm their customer too. I'm just encouraging people to try/support local businesses.
We're all in this together!

Just started going here. Coffee is great. They will make w.e u want even if it's not on menu like frappes and lattes. Kind of pricey tho but not much different than starbucks

This was the greatest delivery by Grubhub but the worst food! I ordered two tomato soups but only got one because they must have run out. Never called me or offered me another choice but it doesn’t matter because the soup was gummy and flavorless. And the paninis were hard dry and also lacked flavor and the chips were stale! Very bad all around. Disappointed. But they are packaged well
