Donnie's Homespun Pizza

They were very courteous to me. The pizza I had (sicily) was great quality, tasted fresh, and a fair price for a good quality pizza. I think I will make more frequent stops there on my weekends.

This location is happening. It's quarky and it is fun. However the pizza crusts we super bland and a bit doughy for deep dish. The prices were good but in the end the prices did not meet the quality concerns I had. The toppings were limited and there was a lack of slice integrity. Wish I could give it higher rating but it's just not quite average.

Such a great place to go in Decatur. Music is always good, great beer options, and the fact that they have a vegan menu is amazing!

*Note for vegans, their red sauce for pizza has cheese in it, so plan accordingly.

I was with a group of roller derby folks. We had just finished a doubleheader and was looking for food and a place to unwind prior to driving for 3 hours back home. We arrived late and the bar manager was excellent to us. Including our skater who had just left the ER with a broken leg. Very accommodating!

Good place to get lunch. The sandwiches are always tasty.

Have gone twice on Fridays with a group of coworkers (7 or 8 of us). First time took a little long to get our food but the second was really quick. Let em know you're in a rush if you are, and they will hook you up.

Always a great time! Some of the friendliest people in the area, hands down! Fun atmosphere, diverse crowd & Music, music, music! Never had an issue with long wait times, Love all the different pizzas, and Vegetarian choices available* Highly suggest a visit if you're in the area =)

After seeing an ad, I decided to get their deep dish Sicilian pizza (pepperoni, Italian ham, spinach, seasoning). The pizza was truly delicious, the vibes in the restaurant were pretty great, the staff was friendly enough. So why only 4 stars?

Value. I paid almost $30 for this pie. I'm willing to shell out for a premium product. But look at the picture...There's an okay amount of ham, but no pepperoni, not even that much spinach to speak of. I'm not the kind of person who wants my pizza loaded with toppings, but when there's less than one pepperoni per slice, we have a problem.

Would I order again? Probably. But it also likely won't be a super regular thing either.

Our waitress was outstanding didn't get her name, Saturday night we sat outside she checked on us plenty. I had the lemonade made fresh daily it was yummy. We will be back for sure

Good food, good beer. 4 of us were there for dinner, 3 dinners (3 sandwiches 1 pizza) came out on time mine (pizza) was late. Waitress went back to check on it, she came back a couple min later and said it would be a few more minutes and my dinner would be taken off of our bill. My food arrived a few min later and was excellent,

In a world where everyone passes the buck, blamestorms, and no one is individually responsible for anything, it’s great that they actually acknowledge that they messed up, corrected the problem, and took it care of the bill without me having to bring it up.

Not where I would recommend for dinner sit downs. They have poor inventory or the severe lack of good management. I have never been able to order off the menu without them saying “I am sorry we don’t have that”. This is currently the only place local that serves vegan pizza options (only reason we gave it multiple attempts). That has huge potential if you master the art of keeping track of your inventory. With other places opening the plant based vegan options on their menus I won’t be wasting my time with this place anymore. We gave this place several attempts and they failed every single time. Can’t keep it local when your service is horrible. Maybe give bar rescue a call and they can fix you up.
