Hexe Coffee Co.

I found this place on two separate lists for the best cafes to work in Chicago. So glad I went. Very friendly staff, delicious bakery items (all made in house), and a fun, witchy, dark academia vibe.
I'll be back often.

VERY atmospheric with talented baristas and awesome live jazz. I had a matcha latte and it was outstanding! Will definitely be coming back here!

Hexe is awesome. Coffee is a bit overpriced (probably fine for the area, so maybe just me) but the atmosphere is great and I love that they have a liquor license.

Hexe is always a must-go. The coffee is always killer, they have a great selection of pastries, and their beer list features so many of my fave local breweries. Their indoor seating gives all of the cool spooky vibes, and the patio is perfection for posting up with a good book or work, and getting in some premium dog-spotting.

The coffee seems great. My wife loves it. I love the muffins myself. I need to go at night now to try the drinks.

So crowded. Loud. Parking sucks in the area. System to order and then have somewhere to sit is poorly thought out. If you can walk or transit there and it's not a Sunday, it is probably a nice experience.

Big fan of the Behemoth espresso. Nice selection of freshly baked pastries. Tons of indoor and outdoor seating.

Also countering the 1 star review earlier today because this place rocks. Amazing group of people and fantastic product. Does great things for the community and has incredibly delicious pastries. Enjoy the day off Hexe and I’ll be back soon!!
