Very unorganized. Met a friend. She received her scone. No tea. Opposite for me. I had my medium coffee done before my scone came. Won't go back.

This is my second bad experience here, this weekend I placed a pick-up order, my fiancé got there 5 mins late from the ready time, it was stolen. He went inside to to talk to someone about it they made it out like it was his fault and took 15 mins to refund us (offered to make us a new order and wait another 25 mins, no thanks.) Really frustrating situation to be in then to have the manage make it out to be our fault? Also, annoying that we had to waste 30 to get a refund on the order we never received. Maybe reassess your system or have someone monitor your outdoor pickup spot more closely as it's right next to the sidewalk.
Adding context to my review as I just read a review from Magnus Wu (below) who had a bit of a similar situation here and I feel its necessary to mention my fiancé is Black. After this all took place, I did think what if I had to retrieve the order, would it of been handled differently?

Excited to try this place out since we were in the neighborhood and it was a cold evening. We get to the register and the woman taking the order (short bleach blond hair) was extremely cold and rude. Didn’t even look at us while she took our order. Gave our order in to go go cups while the group of individuals in front us got glass wear. Didn’t ask if it was “for here” or “to go”. Coffee is great but the staff not so much.

Not the best first experience. Came over here to get breakfast and study on a Saturday morning. Come to find out they turn off their WiFi on Saturday so I wasn’t able to get any work done. Also, after I ordered a breakfast sandwich and sat down, someone came over and told me they were out of eggs. They serve breakfast all day... 🤦🏼♀️
Update:
Recently moved and now live very close to this place. They’re pickup services have been amazing during the pandemic and such a time saver. I just use the app to order, get an email when it’s ready, walk over and grab it. Cappuccinos are good and the peppermint fluff latte is amazing.
Once the pandemic is over though, it would be great if WiFi is on all the time 😬

Stopped here for breakfast. I asked for a recommendation for something vegetarian and dairy free. They recommended the Veggie Pesto Burrito. I double checked with them that the pesto didn't have any dairy and there was no other dairy in the burrito.
I got my food, and it looked like there was cheese in it. I took it back to ask them, and they said that that was just the egg. I took a bite of the food, and knew it was cheese, and took it back once again.
They said it was cheese and they had been wondering if it had cheese but weren't sure so they didn't say anything.
Definitely do not come here if you have any allergies unless you want overpriced coffee and food (for small quantities) and staff who don't know the ingredients in the food they serve.

Great coffee, good food, nice atmosphere!

Too crowded to get any work done as it’s full of white people scrolling through Instagram staring at you. Seriously, I was 1 of 2 Black or Brown people in the whole establishment including employees. Did not feel welcome as a POC.

Cool, airy layout with 2 floors of seating. The tea was great, the food also (try the frittatas!) and service was good. However, I have 2 suggestions to improve the experience. 1. Please turn the base down ... I was vibrating in my seat the whole time ... music volume also a bit much considering many people go to cafes to study or do work; when I asked if this could be adjusted, I was told that the music is "controlled from Milwaukee headquarters" - seems odd. 2. WIFI was spotty and consistently slow during my visit (1-5pm on a weekday). Overall, I'm excited to have this new edition to my neighborhood but hoping suggestions will be considered.

Boutique Coffee shop based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. So glad they are in Chicago, move over Starbucks this is my new go to coffeehouse. Their secret is the freshness of the roast. I've been drinking their Blue Heeler Coffee blend for a few years. Menu adds pastry and sandwiches that include a Impossible Breakfast Muffin. Various locations
