I’m such a Big fan of Big Shoulders coffee. This location has some wonderful customer service. They are very patient and make sure you are well taken care of. It’s such a peaceful respite from the hustle of the loop!!

I’ve been walking past this place to work everyday for the past few months and have wanted to stop in. Happy to report it was awesome! Coffee was great and it felt good to support a local Chicago spot. Really enjoyed the artwork as well (forgot to take a picture). I know they have a couple locations around town, so will look to try a another one next!

The little microwave sandwich thing was surprisingly tasty for a quick breakfast but the latte ended up getting dropped in the trash. They only have 8oz and 16oz which is a bit unusual for the ratios of espresso and milk (typically 12oz cups) so that may have been part of it but the taste was pretty bad.

Delicious coffee if you’re in town. The young lady at the counter was very nice. The coffee was superb.

A pleasant surprise. First time in Chicago and just looked for something independent looking near where I am for work. Nicely roasted beans for espresso drinks. Had a flat white and a perfectly good blueberry muffin. Will be back in the morning to try a pour over of one of their more complex roasts.

Had a really good chip of pourover coffee at Big Shoulders Coffee. They have a very friendly staff who helped me choose a coffee selection. I would recommend this place to others!

Great shop with high quality beans, perfectly made pour over perfection, a clean aesthetic, nice baristas, and strong Chicago pride. I had a delicious pour over, which they push as their speciality (get one, it's totally worth it!) and brought home 2lbs of whole bean for the month. They both had a roast date within the last 3 days, so very happy to have fresh single origin beans at a good price (<$15/lb). I'll definitely be back many times.

Ordered a Macchiato with whole milk foam. $4.28. Very sour. Don't know what kind bean they used to make it so sour. Also it came in a paper cup. No aroma. Not impressed.

Tried the cardamom latte. It was good, not overly sweet like so many places do with lattes. Friendly service and a clean and inviting atmosphere.
