Bae Coffee Company

I'm not a big coffee person, but when I do have some, I prefer (require?) that it be from here. Top quality drinks of all kinds in a fun and inviting space. Also have to mention the amazing pastries. Even typing about them right now makes my mouth water. Overall, this place is run by some sweet people and they're doing a fantastic job. A great addition to the area and I hope it stays around for many, many years.

What a gem of a find! Stumbled across this place on an early morning walk. So happy we decided to drop in. Owner and staff super friendly, adorable aesthetic and great-tasting coffee! Will absolutely be back.

Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had, and I’ve had coffee everywhere! The chai latte and dirty chai are especially delicious and it’s clear that a lot of care is put into developing the recipes. Plus the place is cute and the owner is super fun to talk to.

Cutest and vibe-iest coffee shop in Lakeview. Small business vibe, with an approachable, comfortable, and cute environment. Not to mention the best London Fog I've ever had in my life (get with oat milk...and it's sprinkled with dried flowers on top). The owner is the nicest guy...and the regulars are cool. Work from here, stop in here with a friend, or just relax and unwind to the record player playing old school (and new school) tunes. The pink color scheme scares away the uncool people ; ) Love you guys!!!

Me and my friends (four of us) came to get some coffee this morning and had a wonderful experience. All of our drinks were delicious, and the barista (forgot his name) was working alone and got them all done pretty quickly. He was friendly, attentive, and even gave one of my friends a free pasty for her bday! One of the cutest little shops here in lakeview East

After having tried nearly every coffee and Chai place in Chicago, I can say with confidence that Bae has the best Chai in the city. Their seasonal drinks are equally impressive. The Apple chai-der is like the Nectar of the Gods. The owners are Bae. I come here whenever I can.

Went here this morning with my husband and had a poptart pastry and a cortado. The vibe is fun and the pastry was yummy, but y’all, the coffee was great. We spoke to Devon, the co-owner and his passion for coffee really came through in the cup. Definitely the best espresso-based drink we’ve had in East Lakeview, so we’re thrilled to have a new coffee date spot within walking distance of us!

What a fun, bright, friendly space. The Coffee was AMAZING!! A bit pricey for a daily dose but if you just want to treat yourself this is one of the places in Lakeview to do it.

Friendly staff member, awesome decor, warm feeling…perfect stop before exploring the nearby area….gives you a feeling of the vibe. Coffee was excellent and a complimentary espresso as I was curious about the taste of the beans.

About a dollar more than I’d usually pay ($6 after tax & 20% tip for a $4.50 espresso) but happy to support a local married duo that run it. The quality was there on the first sip, the second, third, and then it was quickly gone.
