This coffee shop is very close to my boyfriend’s house, so if they’re open and we can make it on Saturday mornings, we love to go and order their signature rosemary mocha. It’s our favorite! The drink isn’t always consistent—the taste can be slightly different from one visit to the next—but the main issue I have with this cafe is the baristas. They are not very welcoming or friendly, nor do they ever try to engage with their customers. It’s a little disappointing, especially considering we’re regulars. The coffee is pricy but we still come in because we know this is the only place we can get this specific mocha.

I enjoy visiting here every time we are back in town. Delicious espresso and tea along with friendly service and all around good vibes. They know good coffee beans and have good snacks. Highly recommend.

Everyone says this place has great coffee, and I have had it and found it agreeable.
Usually I get tea, though, and the barista is always nice about asking if I want it in milk with honey or sugar. I got one of their plant based options (oat and almond) with honey for my yerba mate and it was great.

I would say it is a little small for its peak hours, so you might not be able to find a place to sit. I think they do set up some outside tables on First street when the weather is nice which helps, though.

Probably the best *coffee* shop in town.
The atmosphere is nice too.

A good place for great coffee in my fake office away from home. Important notes. Good wifi. Free parking. Independently owned.

Pro's: The coffee beans they use is of the highest quality. The people who work there are locals! The space is beautiful and creative!

Con's: The quality of the food ordered, needs to improve. E.g. The Egg Sandwich, especially for the price!

I was a huge Flying Machine fan when they were in Urbana, but the new Avionics location did not disappoint.

It’s a bit small, and there’s no Pizza M or wine/beer, but the wait staff is friendly, lattes are delicious, and if you’re gluten free, they can make any sandwich on their grit “cake” (basically a circle of warm grits on a plate but still delicious), although they do run out kind of early sometimes.

You might have to share a larger table with wooden benches (no backs) if you don’t get lucky with a table, though, and if you get an iced beverage, be careful they don’t accidentally make it hot (but they’ll gladly remake!).

The drinks I've had are just as fantastic as the Urbana location. The food is really unique in the best possible way. I can't wait to try everything else on the menu. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and willing to put up with my inability to pick items quickly. The atmosphere is really nice, like when you go to a friend's house and wonder why you can't get your place to feel like that. I definitely recommend buying some coffee beans before you go. I'm terrible at making coffee but the beans from Ethiopia I bought and brewed at home resulted in the best pot of coffee I ever made.

A great little coffee spot. The prices seem high for the area but the specialty coffee was great. The highlight was the Matcha tea with lemon ash.
