Very popular for the laptop crowd.
There's no particular music or atmosphere, so it's good for people who want to study or read, or a group that's looking for a relatively quiet place.
Chai is nice, as well.

Great place to get cold brewer! Staff and management was great.

something dreadful has gone wrong here. this review is based on three visits so i'm not slamming it vicariously. the coffee is weak and bitter, the bathrooms are filthy and the pie...the pie should be wonderful, its from Brown Bag in Monticello..the pie is stale and inedible. this last in particular i just couldn't believe. Brown Bag pie is famous around here. they should reconsider their contract w Kopi. Believe me, this is not the Kopi I've been going to since it opened. What has gone happened???!

Kopi is one of my favorite places for a chair chai latte in town. I love their cafe atmosphere which is generally quiet. They also do breakfast sandwiches and some other hot sandwiches that I really like.

I've been visiting this cafe for at least seven years, and I love it. Its a nice place to work, meet up with friends, and it also has some really good coffee. Would definitely recommend.

Rude staff and overpriced. Used to be a nice place to go. I ordered a velvet dark house coffee that tasted like aldis meduium blend. was it made wrong? not sure... however I can make a cup of coffee at home for 8 cents at that rate. Mise well throw your money down the toilet if you dont want it, dont forget to leave a tip for ignorance

I love this Café and their fresh food. The staff is always friendly even on their busiest days. Cafe Kopi is my weekend treat hands down! My only friendly suggestion is, would it be possible for the barista, who handles payments and drinks, to please wear gloves when preparing said beverages? Watching the barista touching money and then the coffee lids is a bit of a risk. I also noticed the barista shaking the chocolate syrup while putting their bare index finger over the spout. I hope this didn't come across too harsh 🙈. I still enjoy this establishment and will continue to support them!

The sandwiches were really good. I got the tuna, my wife got the turkey pesto. The price is a little high, but I think the quality makes it up. Their signature cappuccino kopi was pretty good. But their regular coffee was very basic. Had expected much better coffee. Also, service could be much better. People at the counter generally seemed disinterested. I asked for a glass of water and the person filled out less than half of a 12 ounce glass. Really?

Hi, my friend and I went checking out the downtown area for a small get-together since we're visiting Champaign and decided to stop by to get coffee. I've never tried green matcha in frappé form so I gave it a go. It definitely did not have any hint of sweetness and it smelled of fish...not seaweed. I asked Emma the cashier for an exchange, she said No. I asked for a refund, she said "No, only the manager can do that." Then stated he's out of town and not sure when he'll be back. So that's almost $7 down the drain in these inflated times and my customer service experience was very dissatisfiying.
