Most of the staff is friendly you can find more stuff in here than a normal gas station. The diner has good food they help support our local food businesses by selling their products as well.
Opens Early for the loggers and early birds.

I've eaten here several times over the past years & ordered something different each time. All meals were exceptional & at first I was pleasantly shocked (due to a restaurant being in a "gas station")..but now I know whatever I order I will enjoy. π
I canβt believe I forgot to mention the VIEW!!
Wow! Such breathtaking scenery! Both my granddaughters want to be married here!π

This restaurant is run very well. The service is excellent, they know us by name and even remember our preferences. The head chef is truly a good chef and puts out a marvelous meal from a we'll trained kitchen staff. Selections are many from the menu. Friday night fish and chips and Saturday prime rib are our favorites. Great desert choices, always a surprise.

I came in 5mn from choosing and the nice young lady offered to cook me something to go! So I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, which was very delicious btw and also reasonably priced with a healthy portion of French fries.........
Highly recommend stopping in here!!! Great food great prices and very friendly staffππΌππΌππΌ

I really like the food here but my last visit was really unpleasant. One of the workers was very rude right when I walked in, rolled her eyes and made rude/judgmental expressions at my family and I before we had even walked up to be seated. I believe it was because we were all wearing masks and it is a very small town but im not sure. No matter the reason, it made me very sad and uncomfortable and I felt very unwelcome. I love the barbecue and coleslaw sandwich and had asked my family if we could stop specifically here because the food IS really good. But I couldn't shake the feeling of just unnecessary unwelcome that I got for no reason right when I walked in. If you dont want to wear a mask to protect others, that's on you, but dont take your judgment out on your customers.

Sherrie my server was great. The management can't be blind to the inordinate amount of flies in the dining room. All the patrons were swinging at flies. I thought I was in a Jackie Chan movie. The vegetables were perfection, mash and brown gravy was hot and flavorful. Slightly lumpy, reminded me of mums mash. The Rib eye was good although the cook obviously does not know the difference between med rare and med well. Dont get me wrong it was good just not like my server told the cook to prepare it... (yes looked twice at the order on the check).

North Idaho's best kept secret. The food is home cooked and delightfully tasty. I don't eat here often, but it is worth taking a 90 minute drive just to eat here! The service and food are outstanding!

While in town for a Celebration of Life event my nephew recommended this place for dinner so we stopped by around 7:30pm for dinner before we had to leave town. The place is connected to a gas station which at 1st I was not sure about, but it ended up being very cute and cozy...and that is where the good in this review ends.... our server was a young gal that gave off the impression that she did not care if we were there or not, I asked her if the Prime Rib dip was good she said of course so I thought it would be after all it was Saturday night (Prime Rib night) so that is what I ordered. We waited a long time considering we were only 1 of 3 tables, the food came and she disappeared before I could tell her that my Prime Rib Dip was anything but Prime! It was the worst dip I have ever had the cook had burnt the meat so bad that it crunched when you ate it, but it was late and I was starving so I dipped it in the au jus until it was soggy and managed to choke down 1/2 of it. When she finally came back and I showed her she said oh I'll go tell the cook, the next time she came back it was to drop the bill on our table and she did not say one word about my sandwich. When we paid the cashier in the gas station I again told her how bad it was and she said she would tell the manager whom is also the cook and that's probably why no one cared! Bad food - worse service - next time we will pass!

Good food and service. You will never find a better view than at this establishment. Worth it for the drive in any of the four seasons. In the spring and summer they have an outdoor seating area with a manicured lawn and beautiful flowers and trees. A delightful and very relaxing place to dine or just have a drink.
