Open during remodeling. Chef has odd insistence on blue cheese where it doesn't need to be. The period from ordering food to receiving the entree was painfully long despite drinks and good conversation.

5 stars for Marissa. The chicken was cold, dry and flavorless. She went above and beyond to make it better. Brought new food and gave us a discount. The restaurant gets three stars, Marissa gets 5 stars

My wife and I recently tried Cafe Tuscano for the first time. Initially I was impressed by the ambiance and the amount of seating they had; the size of the place is a bit deceiving (they haven't completed their expansion so this is strictly referring to the original restaurant configuration). I had the tri-tip fettuccine and the wife had the chicken artichoke penne. We both had the house salads, which were great. The garlic bread was good but I feel there's some room for improvement there. The huckleberry Italian soda tasted like fresh huckleberry and not like a pre-packaged syrup, but I'm not sure if that's true to how it's made. Overall, the food was fantastic; probably about the best food in town.

Our waitress, Jade, was also exceptional; some of the best service I've had in a restaurant in a long time. You can tell they put a lot into their customer service training. About the only bad thing I can think to say is that it took just a little longer than I'd expect to get initial drink orders, but it wasn't unreasonable. Prices were on the higher side but not unreasonable for the portion sizes. Overall a fantastic experience and we'll definitely be back.

Food is more pricey than most restaurants in town, but for good reason. The food was delicious, the ambiance was great, and would definitely go again! I forgot to take photos because it smelled so good we couldn't wait to eat it!

Was not very clean but atmosphere was pleasant. Food was just ok but we ordered from the pizza menu, regular food items looked good from a distance.

We attempted to celebrate Valentines here, but chose to do so the day after so we didn't have to deal with crowds. Unfortunately, all we ended up doing was having a lengthy wait. If we had even been offered water or even acknowledged by our waitress in the 20 minutes that we sat there, this review would be completely different, but sadly we were not. I cannot attest as to whether they food is amazing or horrible because we left. On the bright side, we did get told to have a nice day as we left.

First time there and the Italian sodas themselves were amazing enough to make a return customer, but the old as well! Salivating just thinking about it and the staff were great too. Easy 5 stars!

I thought I reviewed this place. Maybe not. It has the best Italian food in Pocatello. It's so hard to stop eating the lasagna.

There was a hair in our pizza. Gross!! And the meatball sandwich tasted like cheap jail food. Terrible.

We call this our "Gas-talian" restaurant, 😂 It is a beautiful, classy restaurant with outdoor water feature views with statues, and beautiful Italian indoor decor. More Italian feeling then Olive Garden and the food is better. Don't be put off by having to walk thru the gas station to enter the restaurant. That just adds to the uniqueness of the place and the wonder of it when you come thru the door and everything changes so drastically. It is a local favorite.

*Update*
They’ve been doing renovations and the gas station/convenience store part has since shut down. It is a full on Italian Restaurant.
