The longer you sit the more you notice! This place is a little piece of history that also happens to serve some amazing Italian creme sodas and the best soup I've had in a long time. Seriously, try their homemade tomato basil, you won't be disappointed!
The owners, Jeff and Le-Ann are kindhearted, wholesome folks who want to make sure you enjoy your meal and are happy to disband chat with you. If you're looking for a wonderful lunch experience, you need to give this sweet gem a shot!

We hadn’t been to Mountain Home very often in the past few years and we were looking for a place for breakfast and came across this place. It looks like it’s been around for a long time but it’s only been there about six years. It has a cute country feel almost like being in a vintage store. The food was amazing & everything was homemade, you could tell! We both ordered Panini’s, which were very good and they came with the items in the photo, which is a homemade mac & cheese and tomato basil soup of the day. We will definitely go back there the next time we’re in town.

Love this place. The hospitality was amazing . Friendly staff. The special and French dip was very tasteful. Their chicken Alfredo and potato salad was exceptionally spiced. Then the CHEESECAKE was “no words can explain the taste” good, great, well, shoot mouth watering

Great little find in Mountain Home, Idaho. We stopped in near closing for a late lunch while traveling,so glad we did.
Owned by a husband and wife team, the husband was our greeter and server. My husband ordered the Chicken Salad sandwich, ate it so quickly I only have a half photo of the food. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Alfredo Panini. We chose Creamy Tomato Soup and Chicken & Dumplings. All was fantastic.

Stopped for breakfast on my way though town and glad I did. Both the waffle and Jeff’s Special were delicious. The coffee was also so good I got some to go as well. Cheaper and tastier than any chain, make it a stop if you’re in town.

The Belgian waffle, bananas foster, and cinnamon apple pull-aparts were all tasty, and we had a nice chat with the owners while we waited for our order.
We were a little hesitant to enter at first because the storefront and TV programming seemed ultra conservative, but the owners were very welcoming and the menu looked appealing. On top of that, we left with a framed, signed Mets jersey in addition to our breakfast!
The decor actually comprises a large assortment of interesting items for sale. It's worth a visit to get a taste of small town Idaho.

Wanted to try a new place to eat and this place did not disappoint. I got the lunch special with a sandwich, side, and a drink. The Mac and cheese was so good. The chicken salad sandwich was one of the best I have had. Don’t forget to try an Italian soda and look at all the fun antiques inside.

Such a wonderful find! The food was so good we drove through and stopped in one day and came back again the next to try more menu items as well as talk to the lovely couple that owns the restaurant. We had the Biscuits and Gravy, pastrami sandwich, turkey sandwich and salad.....oh yes and an Apple Barrel desert....AMAZING! The food was fresh and yummy...give it a try!

Great sandwiches. We sat outside with our 2 dogs. Table serve outdoors. Very friendly and the best customer service I have seen since the pandemic started! They do allow substitutions. All the sandwiches are panenni style, but you can ask for a cold version instead. 2 meals with drinks and 20%tip under 30 dollars. Highly recommend! If you stop by Mountain Home, stop by Apple Barrel.
