Java On Fourth

This is a local favorite for Sun Valley. This wonderful medium-sized Java house offers a small, yet delicious brunch menu and delectable coffee specialties. I would highly recommend the breakfast tacos and the cold brew coffee!

Funny story: we were waiting in line listening to the cashier talk about how gross her hair was (while she was twirling her hands in it) because she hadn't showered in 3 days, then watched her handle customer pastries without gloves or washing her hands.
The hot food was terrible, but the pastries were delicious (another server filled out order) so we felt okay eating it

Good coffee and a nice change from the local Starbucks. The folks behind the counter are very nice and the coffee was very good. I don't particularly like the Starbucks in Ketchum. I don't find the Starbucks staff to be very friendly despite the fact that most people in Ketchum are very friendly. You will enjoy your visit to Java on Fourth

Love this place! My husband I are in town on vacation for a few days and we ate breakfast here this morning. Delicious breakfast omelette (great size, too!) and a vanilla latte. I'm a Portland Stumptown girl, so I was happy to find their lattes are yummy! We noticed they have a really great breakfast and lunch menu, oh and free WiFi! Probably will eat here soon before we leave. It seemed to be a happenin' place!

Cool atmosphere. Bad coffee. Strong but bitter and mediocre flavor.

The food was delicious!! This establishment supports original music and treated the Hawthorne Roots like family. Will absolutely return the next time we are in Ketchum!

I had their Americano and it was amazing. Not sure where they source their beans but it tasted very fresh and had a lot of flavor. They also have a great assortment of pastries too.

A friend and I go in about once a week so we're familiar with the ambient noise level. Today went in and the background music seemed loud. My associate agreed and I asked if the person would "turn it down" a notch (nicely I thought). They said sure, and turned it down. Ten minutes later, the volume went back up. We moved outside. Don't know if there was a reasonable explanation I wasn't aware of, or the person was on an "I'll show you" trip. Thought management should know.

Great service, delicious coffee. All time favorite drink would have to be the signature Bowl of Soul and the hot chocolate!
