Wish I went somewhere else. I came on a Tuesday morning and ordered an iced americano and a blueberry scone. They were very busy, took 20+ minutes to get my drink and food. I was most disappointed that the shots in my drink were burnt and my scone only had blueberries on top, I expected fruit throughout. The scone tasted like flour.

We love all the Javas in and around Sun Valley. Nice vibe, good food!!

Excellent coffee brewed or expresso, and lots of fresh-baked books, as well as hot breakfast options, served by fast, friendly, knowledge people with some of the coolest, boldest, chique and modern personal style tastes. Put simply, I prefer the baristas here over starschmucks any day.
Arrive early to avoid the crowds as a decent line often forms by 9. Check the menu online - and I cannot emphasize this enough - know what you want before you go to avoid holding up the line of regulars and folks that know what they want by heart.
Ample indoor and outdoor seating. Your pets are welcome *outside*, and there are always several dogs, but for the safety and comfort of others you will have to have your pets on a leash regardless of your assurances of it being in *your mind* unnecessary.
Parents, try assigning your children a comfortable seat in the comfortable lounge, as there is limited counter space for the line of paying coffee customers and no one is above politely asking your kids to stop grabbing baked goods like playthings.
This is my choice place for treat yo'self coffee, and I hope it becomes yours too.
Behave. Be kind. And tell your kids to go sit somewhere while you order.

Ordered a vanilla cappuccino and waited 15 + minutes for it and my 20 oz coffee was more than half foam and not even close to the top. Disappointed. Understand that cappuccino has foam but this was way more than usual.

Breakfast burrito was terrible so many beans you couldn't taste the eggs or bacon. The 4 little girls working behind the counter were stretching and busy drinking their own drinks it took 10 minutes already had the food ordered and 2 people In front of us took 10 minutes to get to the front.

Nice menu and nice staff. Was open Monday which was helpful. I know there are staff shortages so be patient with the staff that are there...they're working lots of hours! Our muffin and drinks were worth the wait. Look forward to trying the made to order breakfast next time. Also the signature drinks looked great I didn't notice until after I ordered so will try next time.

Ordered two, double shot lattes to go. As an espresso enthusiast it was immediately clear by grind time and extraction color/flow rate and time of extraction that a single shot was pulled for each. The milk froth looked pale as well. I noticed a gallon of skim milk sitting out next to the barista and asked if they had used that milk and if they had if they could please remake it to which the cashier (who didn’t pull the shots) quickly exclaimed that 2% is the default and that “for sure it’s not skim”. After one taste it was confirmed there was indeed an over extracted single shot in a skim milk latte. Gave the employees several opportunities along the way to change or even remake but ultimately they stood their ground and we ended up asking for a refund as the manager was unavailable. Not the place to go if you are wanting a thoughtfully created espresso based beverage with staff who want you to be satisfied as a customer.

We went here last weekend on a Saturday. The wait in line is incredibly long and slow. When we finally reached the counter, it was just pure chaos. The espresso machine area was so messy and dirty, the employees were snappy and overwhelmed. There was what I can only assume was the manager ( a heavily tattooed lady) , she was extremely abrasive and condescending to her employees right in front of the customers! And she was non masked and coughing!! This is unacceptable behavior!
The music was deafeningly loud so much so that we were not sure if we would even receive the correct order!
We ordered a iced bowl , which was only a basic mocha, no resemblance to the hot bowl of soul, and my husband ordered a hot bowl of soul. The hot drink was fine albeit overly sweet. The wait for the drinks was over 15 minutes .
The food was expensive, tasteless and mediocre. Soggy unseasoned microwaved (!!!!) burritos from a dirty kitchen. The food wait was well upwards of half an hour.
Don’t even get me started on the tasteless and dry baked goods! Who makes baked goods like this?! We saw many people outside throw out barely eaten baked goods and breakfast meals.
Upon sitting outside, you become well aware of the filthiness of this cafe, it’s just run down and sad.
This place may have once had its heyday but I think it’s now time to reboot this place or just close it and get new management and less surly baristas. Time to move this cafe and food out of the 1990’s!
It’s Maude’s Coffee for us next weekend!

Coffee is delicious but customer service is absolutely terrible. Not worth the coffee to be treated horrible. Tried it twice & will never come again.

This is my second visit to this establishment. Much better than my first visit. The staff was somewhat friendly, more than most in this area. They were quick and attentive. My order was correct. Prices are decent for the area as well. For a mom n pop joint, the selection of drinks and food is plentiful. Would recommend this place over your chain businesses.
