The best restaurant in the area hands down and the atmosphere is an incredible trip back in time....

VERY good! We had the Quiche Lorraine, spinach bacon omelet, cinnamon roll and chicken fried steak. Everyone liked their food. Even got some tea to try! Reminded me if an old soda shop.

Great location! Friendly, fast service! Great prices and a pleasant atmosphere! I have eaten here on several occasions while in the area and am never disappointed! Stop in, relax and enjoy a great breakfast!

We waited an hour for our food. Got feed up with the wait and walked out. The waitress that waited on us looked like a character out of scary movie. I will never go back again

Now it's latest from three years ago to the present. I've been noticed lots of changes ever since we went there. It used to be one of our few favorite restaurants. This late morning we had breakfast and had misunderstanding miscommunication about the orders by hand writing on the paper. Also they keeps charged more and my hubby had to fix the errors more than once. And still charged for two bacons that didn't add to his burrito. No Bacons at all! They can have it. It's mixed order tho. It's not first time. Same problem just like last time. They are not having positive attitudes. I don't know what's happening to our old waitresses. They know our usuals. They are so friendly when seeing them. Missing them!!

Now I dropped five stars to one star...

Such great food. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The owner came over and checked on us. He is a veteran. We love eating here when we are in the area.

Great place for lunch or dinner. They have a great variety of items on the menu, not just the same burgers and hot dishes you normally find in small towns. The restaurant is also a bakery and as a good variety of fresh breads, pies, cookies and other sweets.

Good food for a fair price.

This community is BLESSED to have this friendly, Hospitable, in many ways to local and faraway customers....I can't say anything at all against this gathering place. Thank you, Hearthstone

As soon as I walked through the door the wait staff were warm and welcome. I was looking at the pastries, since I was undecided if there was going to be more than coffee, and questions on what the various sweets were readily answered. The warmth dried up as soon as I continued into the restaurant and sat down. I watched my coffee poured into a paper to-go cup which seemed a bit off since every other person at the tables around me had an actual coffee cup. Now I have seen that in the past where coffee shops run low on cups and are waiting for the dishwasher but by everyone having a cup I mean including the people served right before and right after. I simply brushed that off. Perhaps I was in the 30 second window of mugs being out. The end off it all though was when a server came by to all of the tables to ask if more coffee was needed, except mine.I was sitting in the middle of the restaurant. It isn't as if a corner booth was missed in error. Obviously I wasn't welcome.
It would have been a lot more pleasant if the had just let me know as soon as I walked in. Now I am sure this place is a lot better,
