This was our second time coming to Wild West Home for their weekend Italian dinner menu and it did not disappoint! The entire experience from the staff to the food truly creates an authentic Italian experience in the heart of Eagle. We ordered meatballs for an appetizer, that are cooked to perfection with a sauce that we literally scraped off of the plate because it was that good! For our main meal we took our waitresses recommendation on the Gnocchi with the salsa Rosa sauce that melted in our mouths. True perfection! We ended with the tiramisu for dessert that was not only picture worthy but again, scrape your plate good. We can’t wait to come back for more. You definitely want to make sure you have a reservation so you can guarantee not missing out on the experience.

Phenomenal Service and even better Food! Me and Best Friend went for Breakfast at 8 on a Saturday. It was packed(Great Sign) but 2 tables were just opening when we walked in. Waitress was on top of everything. Gave us menus, got us drinks(Coffee and OJ), and gave us a few to look over menu(see pics). Food was Hot, Fresh, and was cook Perfectly! Most Definitely going back, SOON!!

Looking for delicious coffee in downtown Eagle? Look no further. Came here for a quick coffee and a treat. The staff were quick to serve and very friendly. The atmosphere was cozy and had a great local vibe overall. I will definitely be back sometime soon to try something from their breakfast (served all day) or dinner menu.

Came across this place while enjoying a fall walk in downtown eagle ID. First thing when we walked in we were welcomed by a friendly staff member. The building is furnished in country fashion with country music playing. The food came fast and hot. One of the best quality of my waffles was that the syrup was hot. The mocha was drizzled with Hershey chocolate, which is rare to find now days. I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the amazing service here. Looking forward to coming back.

Had an enjoyable meal on the patio on a beautiful October evening. Across our table we had the zucchini noodle pasta, chicken alfredo, pepperoni pizza, and the four cheese ravioli. We also got a hot cocoa, a pumpkin Chai, eggnog latte and a lemon Coco frizzy. Excellent all around. The family that runs the restaurant is very pleasant and want you to have a good experience. Highly recommend you try for yourself. I still need to go back for their breakfast on a different trip but their pastries in the counter looked delicious.

We don't go out to eat a lot, but try to frequent places that have good food and exceptional staff. This is that kind of place. They just treat you like family. My whole family loves coming here which is saying something because we have a few picky eaters. If you have not been, I highly recommend you do.

Was ignored for the first 10 min we were there while 2 other people were waited on , finally got our drinks after 15 min the the waitress proceeded to wait on the couple that came in after us. Waited for 1 hr for a BLT we were going to share while customer after us ate and left. Finally went inside to pay for the beers and leave but they stuck us with the sandwich anyway. The bread was a solid crouton we could not eat and the fries were burnt and cold! Expensive trash!!! Terrible service and cook!

Small place, limited seating and parking is a free for all. We went on a Sunday at 1:30 pm The crowd was starting to thin out. We sat right down and ordered quickly and food was out promptly. Tasted good and the price was about average.

Wild West Home of Mamma Italia ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wild West Home of Mamma Italia in Eagle is the magic that happens every Friday and Saturday night when the Erme family, whose roots are in Naples, transform their Breakfast and Lunch Cafe into Italian Night. Every dish on the menu is a family recipe. I visited for the second time on 2/26/21 with MW. To say we had a memorable meal would be an understatement.

We ordered two appetizers:

Calzone Rolls ($7.50) - Mozzarella, Parmesan Cheese, Capocollo, Prosciutto Cotto, Prosciutto Crudo & fresh herbs rolled and baked in fresh bread, served with homemade marinara. Such a simple dish, but packed with flavor. The marinara is hands-down, the best I’ve ever had. Most marinara sauces skew a bit too sweet for my liking, but not this one. Simple, yet complex at the same time. If I could buy it by the quart, I would.

Meatballs ($10) - Delicious meatballs served in red sauce & topped with mozzarella, Parmesan cheese and parsley. I love homemade meatballs. These were excellent!

For my entrée, I chose Traditional Meat Lasagna - Pasta layers, Parmesan, ricotta, mozzarella and besciamella in Bolognese meat ($12). I added on a side Caesar salad ($3).I don’t normally order the same thing twice in a restaurant until I have sampled a good portion of the menu, but I’ve been dreaming about this dish sine I first had it, over a year. I’m lactose intolerant and ricotta cheese is my kryptonite. Normally, I avoided at all cost, but I wouldn’t let that pesky detail stand in my way.I avoid it at all costs. But I wouldn’t let that pesky detail stand in my way. Mamma Italia’s pillowy lasagna is pure comfort food. Cheesy, meaty perfection tied together with the most wonderful Bolognese sauce. At this point, I’ve pretty much resigned myself to the fact that the only way I am ever going to be able to try another entree at Mamma Italia is if I order two entrees. Seriously.

MW’s entree was Orecchiette Boscaiola - Sautéed mushrooms, onions, sausage & Italian herbs in a light buttery cream sauce over Orecchiette pasta ($15). MW also added on a side Caesar salad ($3). MW was kind enough to give me a bite. It was delicious!

Normally, we would’ve ordered one or two desserts and shared, but we ordered a total of four. I know that sounds excessive, but there was a method to our madness. If you really curious, I’ll fill you in later. We ordered the following:

Tiramisu - Ladyfingers dipped in espresso, covered with whipped mascarpone custard and topped with cocoa powder ($5.99)

Affogato Speciale - Vanilla ice cream topped with fresh espresso shots + two shots of homemade Nutella liquor ($6.25)

Neapolitan Cannoli - Pastry dough shell filled with ricotta, vanilla, candy dried fruits and topped with powdered sugar ($4.99)

Caramel Cake - Moist layers of cake with homemade caramel made from sweetened condensed milk ($6.99)

All of the desserts were excellent! My personal favorites were the Tiramisu and the Affogato Speciale. The tiramisu was one of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve made tiramisu from scratch so I know how quickly it breaks down. This was clearly freshly prepared. Affogato isn’t normally seen on menus in this area and this was my first opportunity to try it. The homemade Nutella liquor made it extra special.

If you haven’t had a chance to check out Wild West Home of Mamma Italia yet, put it on your list. The dining space is small and reservations are recommended. Once the weather warms up, you will be able to dine on the large patio as well.

Highly Recommended!!!

We have been coming here for about 7 years for breakfast. Hate giving a review, because it is kind of a little secret, but it isn't fair to not share. They have the best coffee out if anywhere in Boise, Meridian, or Eagle, and I love the biscuits and gravy.
