A cute, fun, little place to stop and grab a bite to eat before an afternoon of wine tasting. I have been here a handful of times before but after yesterday’s experience I’ll be hesitant to return. We arrived around 11:30, got our name on the list and was told to wait outside and they’d call our provided phone number in about 10 to 15 minutes. They needed to clear a couple tables. After waiting close to 45 minutes we went back inside to check how much longer it would be. The hostess was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional waving her arm to show us the dining area while huffing at us that they are busy right now and they’d get to us. We tried to explain our situation to her calmly and quietly yet she continued to be rude. We then asked to see where we were on the list only to find out our name had been crossed off by mistake. Instead of a sincere apology she continued to be rude and act as if we were inconveniencing her. It wasn’t just us she was rude and unprofessional to. It was just about every customer she spoke to. Hopefully this lady was just having a bad day and the Orchard House doesn’t condone this type of service for their customers!

First time there and at lunch time. Very quaint little place kinda out in the boonies but in the Snake River Wine Region. Didn't have time to shop after lunch but will try to make time when I go back cuz I will be going back. Chose the turkey sandwich with a cranberry mustard spread and got onions rings. Both really, really good!!

I've been trying to find somewhere around that is locally owned, as well as good eats! This place is great! I live 15 minutes away, I've probably driven by here a million times and never knew it was there. I took my kids here for dinner before we went to the Nutcracker. The finger steaks were awesome! I love the little shop up front too! I'll definitely be back with my husband, I would like to try their breakfast menu!

When I first visited The orchard house, I was surprised at how far out of the main town it was. However, the food and customer service more than make up for the drive. The first time I went, I got the fish and chips and they practically melted in my mouth. I could not stop raving about the food. And of course, we had to try their infamous pear pie and it was delicious! The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and quaint with a home grown, country yet modern feel. The servers were very attentive and nice and made sure we were having a good time. I live the little details of this place including the nice easy going soundtrack and the "conversation jar" with slips of paper with conversation prompts. The food was priced well for the quality and everything is locally sourced. Overall, this restaurant went above and beyond my expectations and I will definitely be returning.

This is the cutest, friendliest, sweetest little cafe I've ever visited. The outside ambiance alone is worth the visit. Add in the delicious food (we ate breakfast and everything was high quality and flavorful, and expertly cooked), add the staff's friendly, welcoming demeanor, and you've got a recipe for a fantastic restaurant! If you like biscuits and gravy, try it here. And their Swedish pancakes... Amazing!! Thank you, Orchard House! Great service and food! Next time we travel through ID, we'll definitely come back.

Popped by for lunch after a long hike and we were very hungry. The coffee was amazing and the inside of the shop was super cute. The food was good and the servers were very friendly. We ended up getting some baked goods on our way out and the snickerdoodle cookie was one of the best I'd ever had!

Went and picked up my Mother so she could get out of the house to eat something different for breakfast(she's disabled) but was 5min late, so had to have lunch. But, food was good and got her some of the homemade cookies which she ended up loving!

This was a fun restaurant to visit. I am celiac. I like that they have gluten free bread and buns. Most items can be replaced or eaten safely. The staff are kind and knowledgeable. The patio is my favorite. There is ample parking. Great gem in Idaho to visit. Lots of great local procured food, beverages and flavors like huckleberry.
