Cattlemen’s Cafe

Had no idea this place existed..it’s a hidden gem 🤩but we’re glad we’ve found it!
I had the eggs with bacon and a side of French toast for $10.99.. and hubby had eggs hash brown mini chorizo‘s with pancakes for 10.99and a side of ham $4.99. Everything was cooked perfectly and we didn’t have to wait very long at all.. food came quick as well! Staff was very friendly new regulars by name and made us feel like family ☺️ definitely our new favorite breakfast place in Caldwel!

This was my second time visiting here. I've had the same sweet waitress both times and both times the food came out faster than a fast food restaurant. Both times I've had the 1/2 lb burger patty (which is clearly 100% real beef, unlike fast food restaurants) and a scrambled egg which was cooked perfectly with a side of salsa. The food was delicious and the pricing is very reasonable! I will definitely be back.

It small but bustling and you get good home comfort food. I sometimes eat lunch for breakfast and they never disappoint. The Pie is wonderful too!!! Hubby loves the omelets. We go once a month for a breakfast date. I love that the waitress remember you and have long time customers they greet by name. Know their families and ask about them.

Five stars for the staff, five stars for the food, and five stars for the prices (not cheap but fair). Two stars for seating. The booths are made for skinny folks. Too small for today's fatties like me. Would love to see them replace all of them with tables since the booths would be a nightmare to reconfigure.
I hope the owner knows what treasures she has in the ladies doing the work in the front end. These servers are the best you would find anyplace. They are like family to many of us regulars. So professional while joking, laughing, and making it next to impossible not to come back sooner than later. This is a true "country" cafe at its best. They are connected to the Livestock Auction building. On sale days, they stop serving breakfast at 11:30, but on other days you can get it until they close at 2:00 pm.

Great place to eat. Super good food, great people working there and very unique atmosphere. We could hear the livestock auction going on out back. Super cool.
PS: I think this was one of the best bacon cheese burgers I have had in a long time.

Best Bacon ever. First time going to Cattleman's. Pretty popular spot. Especially on Auction Mornings. Staff was very pleasant. Only issue I had is being big. I am 6-4 335. A tight fit to get in the table for setting. Next time I will wait for a table with chairs.

Love it! Small-town America at its best. This place is the real deal where cafes are concerned. Lots of yummy food, good prices, friendly happy waitress. Their pancake was probably one of the best I've ever had. Huge but so fluffy I couldn't believe it. It was my hubby's but I kept taking bites it was that good.

Great dinner atmosphere and also some really good food. For the price you do get a lot of food. they dont make fancy food, its down to earth good food. They actually have a rather big menu, i was pleasantly surprised. we will for sure be back for lunch since we realized you can call in orders and pick them up. Staff was super friendly and welcoming as well.
