Two Tones Cafe

My husband, daughter and I went to this restaurant early November! Seriously blown away!!! Incredible food!! We will definitely be back every year when we go up there! It’s our new favorite! The prices are great and the portions are perfect! Highly recommend! Oh and the workers and owner are super nice which makes for an overall wonderful experience, and that seems really rare to find!

Imagine my amazement and utter surprise as I opened the menu and began to see dishes normally associated with white tablecloth metro restaurants. And, all of them at small town price points. My wife and I ordered and were served within 10 minutes or so. I seldom see such a broad range of menu items in any restaurant... so much to choose from. Our food was beautifully prepared and perfect in every way... flavor, food temp, plate size and temp, color, ingredients. The portions were just right and definitely not skimpy. I'd have happily paid double or more for any of it in our home region of Seattle, WA. We will go again on our next trip to northern Idaho and will not bother looking for any other restaurant because Two Tone's is, in my opinion, the best meal I've had in a restaurant in years... yes, years. You'll also like the decor. If the owner/manager, Tony, is there, ask about the photos under the glass table tops. There's family history here; a story of family, value, perspective, roots and a beautiful "why" behind how this restaurant came to be after decades of life experiences brought the best fruits of many worlds to Bonner's Ferry. You can get good food in a lot of places if you get out much but great cultural interactions, especially in these times, are, like this place, an absolute gem! And I don't mean a diamond in the rough.

This place is AMAZING! The staff is phenomenal. The owners are the sweetest. My hubby has food allergies but his girls wanted pasta. The owner (cook) came out and talk to him, figured out what he could have and then made it happen. The food was amazing! This guy puts pride and love in every dish. The bread they put out before your meal is heaven in a basket. Thank you for the best meal and the great hospitality.

Fantastic food! Try the Monte Cristo, you will not be disappointed!

Great food. This would be 5 star review.
However my water w empty for 20 minutes and my daughter ordered Alfredo and received Marinara. I usually tip big too.
I am glad they didn't wait until a had just taken a bite to ask " how is everything ".
I tip 10% tops when that happens.

Delicious food and beautiful outdoor garden setting. My whole family loved their meals… it tasted like every dish was home made! Wonderful place.

Every time I go here they mess up my food. Worst restaurant in town.

Great dinner and friendly service. Tasty and generous portions. The owner/chef came out and checked up on us after altering a dish for one of us with a food allergy. We’ll be back!
