Best coffee in the valley. The cold brew is my favorite because it is slightly buttery with not too much bitter aftertaste. I love that they aren't requiring masks, refreshing and poignant. If you're looking for better local coffee, come here or visit their coffee studio on Milwaukee.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Coffee is great, baristas are super-friendly, and the overall atmosphere is something you'd expect in Boise. No more woke Starbucks for me. This is the place to go for friendly vibes.

This place is a hidden gem. Great drinks, friendly staff, and a great vibe. I'll come here for business meetings, to work out of the office, or just hang out with friends. My boyfriend also loves their fresh ground coffee that I bring home for him. They not only sell coffee though, you can get a tea, smoothie, brew, or pastry. Enjoy your beverage either inside or out in their beautifully decorated patio.

Could not be happier with Caffeina! What counts is the quality of their coffee -- it's outstanding! They are roasting it just right and the taste is always fresh. I buy it by the pound also. Green drinks are great. Kitchen is Superbly clean, it's on display. Compare this to Northend Boise Co-op, where they are offering drinks and prepare food -- if you want gross go there, if you want clean go to Caffeina.
Plus if this isn't enough, during the Covid hysteria when the world is turned upside down, THIS place allows one to feel like a human being. No nonsensical person barking to put on a mask for 10 feet until I sit down, as experienced everywhere else. I will forever love Caffeina, wish the owners the best, and from the bottom of my heart "Thank You". This place means more to me than you will ever know.

As soon as I saw all the hate about people not wearing masks, I had to give a review. I have been going to this place for years - and they are in my top 3-4 best coffeeshops in Boise! The atmosphere and aesthetics of this place is amazing! Caffeina is a must and many coffeeshops even use their bean... If you want tap kombucha or beer, they’ve got that too. Come check it out!!

Great coffee, location, and atmosphere. Although I am a staunch supporter of mask wearing for the sake of others, I understood, to some extent, their desire to leave the decision up to patrons. However, with the massive increase in cases, shortly followed by the mayor's enforceable mask mandate, and hearing staff members discuss their intent to invite as many people as possible to their Thanksgiving gatherings in protest, I will no longer be going to Caffeina and will be recommending to my friends, family, and acquaintances to avoid it as well. Additionally, they are not enforcing social distancing at all. Such a bummer.

Great coffee and food. Parking is difficult at times especially for disabled individuals. I'm updating my rating and comment as I went in the store today and neither the employees or the customers were abiding by the mask mandate or 6 ft rule. I know that everyone has a choice about whether they follow the county and city mandates but I personally think it's irresponsible not to. I will never go to this establishment again. Due to the safety issue and blatant disregard for the county and city COVID mandates.

I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but Caffeina doesn't seem to have a care in the world. Masks optional. Some employees wearing masks. Some wearing it with their nose sticking out and other employees not wearing them at all. It's unfortunate because they have decent coffee. But there are many other local coffee shops that are taking proper precautions to protect their employees and customers, so I will be frequenting those places now.

Checked this place out Saturday evening. The coffee tasted great and the decor was lovely. Also, exciting that they have beer, wine, and some food options. The staff person we spoke to was not helpful or friendly in the least and it was kind of funny actually. She didn't know why the roaster wasn't set up, when it would be set up, where the coffee was currently being roasted, or if we could get a punch on a punch card for buying a bag of whole bean coffee so she didn't give us one. Um, ok... Also, she had nothing to say about the different roasts. She was probably just having an off night. Will try again, for sure! Nice to have this sort of gentrification come to this neighborhood.
