Black Rock Coffee Bar

Menu says you have muffins I have gotten muffins before. Go up to the window to make my order she tells me we don't have any well if it's on your menu should have them false advertising.kind of like where I work someone is sick I can't say sorry to tired go somewhere else.

On a quest to find the best Chai Tea Latte in all of Boise. Black Rock's was just okay for me. I'll have to try their coffee and maybe change my rating!

I've always loved Black Rock since I first went to one in Portland. Finally there's one near me! Great drinks, great service, great vibe.

Always fast, friendly, and consistent with their drinks. The iced Irish coffee is my go to, and is far above the coffee drinks from all of the other drive through spots around town.

It was their Grand Opening today. Even though this was a very simple order, they got it wrong: ordered Hot Chocolate with coconut flavor and whipped cream. Got home and it was plain hot chocolate. The 2nd drink was Chai Latte; it was "ok" - nothing memorable.

There was 1 car in front of us, but still had to wait about 5 minutes to move 12 feet to the window. Once there, our order was ready to go. We asked the person at the window which drink was the Hot Chocolate and which one was the Chai Latte? They had to take the lid off of one to determine which one was which. Seems like they could have marked the contents? Maybe my expectations are too high?

In addition, the Drive Thru has 2 lanes (one for each side of the building). The "inside" lane is a very tight "hair-pin" turn. So if you don't have a compact car with a tight turning radius, stay to the left. We had to back-up to make the turn ...and still had to get out of the car to get our drinks.

Granted - this is their opening day, I guess they have some "kinks" to work out. I have heard good reviews on their coffee drinks, but our experience was pretty dismal this morning.

Super good coffee and friendly people that work there. Just found my new place to get my coffee fix on Fairview here in Boise. Thanks Black Rock!

A Coffee shop with 24oz hot espresso drinks! Say less! It's always delicious and strong!

Great coffee and even cooler baristas! Mariah is my fav! Black Rock has lots of options for whatever you are in the mood for!

I tried Black Rock for the first time today. Their coffee is super amazing! The staff was super friendly. I will definitely be back!
