Oxbow Diner & Spirits

This place closes at like 4 pm. Every time I try to eat here it’s closed. Will bypass from now on.

Ordered the black and bleu hamburger with hand cut fries. Excellent hand made burger with plenty of bleu cheese crumbles and nicely toasted bun. Fries were crispy and not too oily. Will definitely stop back in and try some other menu items. Great service too.

Good food BUT the prices online are NOT correct!! I ordered a $5. Sandwich with tots and drink and total was over $14!!!! I called to make them aware and just got an apology. I should have gotten some of my $$ back. I left it there . I'm not a Karen. Just beware of prices!

I was passing through Idaho and wanted a hearty breakfast. I pulled into this small town and tried this place out. The food is great. They poached my eggs perfectly, the biscuits and gravy were great, and the cinnamon roll was enormous. I definitely recommend stopping here to eat. Quality food and excellent service.

I went late with a huge group and the food took forever to get served. I ordered a BLT and was so disappointed with how small it was. I was still impressed with how they had the place set up for our group and they gave us the space to dine, so this Diner earns my respect for that. The food I saw everyone else order sure looked good. But when waiting over an hour for a meal to get to us happened, it was like, "alright I'm losing time out of my life now when I have to be getting home and going to sleep."

Really nice staff and a place people can go and get breakfast, lunch and dinner. Open 7 days a week. Breakfast burrito the way I ordered it too. Also Biscuits and Gravy too.

Buyer Beware, but in a GOOD way. If you are used to the chintzy portions most restaurants have been offering since the pandemic (and let’s face it, even well before), you will be pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food served here. Whatever you do, don’t order the double burger and expect a Red Robin double. This burger puts that to shame. One patty is the thickness of two. I ended up having enough burger for supper as well. Our waitress was so helpful and charming. She went out of her way to check on us and make sure we were happy. All, in all, one of the best dining experiences we have had in Idaho, and we’ve been staying in Boise for a couple weeks, and were here for a couple weeks last month.

We had 11 people in our group and we were treated like royalty. ❤🤩😋

I ordered the chicken sandwich 🥪 it was really good! Husband got the chicken fried steak and he really enjoyed it. We traveled with our 2 year old and everyone was super helpful.

We had a dinner when we arrived and a breakfast when we departed... the chicken wrap was amazing and to come with tots... great combination... My husband enjoyed the cheese burger and said he hadnt had a good burger like that in a long time... for breakfast we shared biscuits and gravy with eggs and pototoes.... that was so delicious... the staff was so nice and great prices with a lot of food...
