Bad Ass Coffee of Maui

Best coffee ever! After trying the coffee at the shot, I got a bag of espresso beans to make at home and I am obsessed! Been making the best mochas at home with them. Will be ordering more soon!

Way overpriced, which is okay if the customer service and ownership is well run. Which it is not. Try lava Java in Kihei or any abc store for a better deal and experience

Coffee was terrible. My first red flag was the big sign before ordering, “all sales are final no returns or exchanges”, and I’m thinking that’s a little odd for any service/food providers but I really wanted some coffee. I really am not exaggerating when I say it tasted like an ashtray, and the bottom was filled with grinds (not just a couple). I ordered a nonfat iced triple latte, my only guess is that the “dark roast” was just plain burnt to nothing. I couldn’t drink it, and because I couldn’t exchange it, I ended up spending another $5 on a latte somewhere else. And while waiting for my coffee I noticed that they had a small box of K-cups of their roast for sale, $19.99. What a rip. I’m assuming that they have gone they a change in ownership, bc there was no love for coffee in that house.

Had some really great coffee here! Got a vanilla macadamia nut iced coffee with a shot of caramel. The staff was nice but quick!

Customer service is lacking and they make you pay for it on an iPad so everything is very expensive. Tips you are forced to give 15%, 20%, or 30%. Not worth a visit.

Not the best coffee. Line moves quick for just coffee spot. Barista was hard to hear and a little confusing with all the orders and paying. Merch is cool though

I've been grabbing my morning coffee from this store almost every day for the past 8 months. The experience you get from this store is beyond amazing, Mako is by far the best and the friendliest barista you will every meet, which just adds on to the fact the coffee is phenomenal. 5⭐️ rating is almost an understatement!

The coffee is great and I love the 'mascot' theme for this place! I come back every year. The t-shirts & bumper stickers are great too. Great location across from public park on the beach.

Rude, confrontational and bad attitude! My 12 year old boy had his mask down below his chin. The blonde lady behind the counter asked him rudely, to keep his mask on telling him, "it's the law." We understood and complied with no resistance. Later, when we approached the register (masks on) she stops to lecture us that we really need to have our masks on that it's the law. If you're that worried, don't open for business, because kids are not always going to be perfect. From what I've been reading in the reviews, the rudeness is embedded in this business and the overpriced coffee is not worth beans. AVOID AND SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSWHERE!

Wish I could give this place negative stars. We were looking for a local coffee shop; this place is called 'Bad ass coffee'. They had one specialty coffee on the menu and they didn't even have it hot. The guy said it was only on ice. We agreed to the ice-coffee and he proceeded to pour it from a pitcher that had been sitting on the counter for who-knows how long, so it was super watered down. My first sip was full of grinds you could see at the bottom of the clear cup.
The guy behind the counter wasn't even polite. He just kept cleaning his coffee maker when we were ready to order. Then when we needed milk, "do you have milk?" "Yes" he says. Brief pause. "Oh would you like some?"... "ummm yes please". The rest of the menu is drip coffee and it wasn't even prepared fresh. If you like gross watered down coffee, or love drip coffee, you will love this place; otherwise avoid at all cost.
If you like specialty coffee, try anywhere else.
