Friendly staff, amazing and unique pastries. Macadamia sticky bun and guava puffs was one of a kind which I have never tasted before. It was absolutely delicious. The cappuccino was cherry on the top.

Ok these malasadas were so good! Made fresh a few days a week and filled right after you order so they’re still soft and a little perfectly crisp on the outside

A must stop for malasadas! So fluffy and delicious. The breakfast sandwiches were also great. The line wasn’t too bad…

The 3 must haves here are the malasadas (of course), macadamia nut sticky buns, and loco moco. To acquire malasadas, you must arrive no later than 6:45, probably earlier on Saturdays, and even then you will be 4th or 5th in line. By 7:15, the line had about 20 people in it. They make the malasadas to order, and they were hot, fresh, and delicious. We came on a non-malasada day and ordered the sticky bun. It is beyond good. I’m not sure how they make them so good, but they were unlike any other sticky bun I have had.
We weren’t expecting a full breakfast and lunch menu, but were pleasantly surprised by the loco moco. It was so flavorful, and they use local grass fed beef for the hamburger. Even the macaroni salad was exceptional.

So good. I advance ordered these malasadas (vanilla bean, espresso, passion fruit, & coconut filled), but my plane was late. I called when we landed. The restaurant was officially closed, but there was a guy still working. He held my goodies at the back door for me. So cool and so good.

They do not bake fresh bread at this place. I was there 7:30 am on a Monday and was sent away, told to come back “tomorrow, which is our baking day”.

So good and worth the 30 min drive!

Many said this place had better malasadas than Leonard’s. I called BS. But, they were and I flew to Oahu right after and had Leonard’s and it wasn’t even close! The rest of the menu is spectacular as well. We wanted to go back again and again.

We waited a tremendous amount of time just to discover they had pretty much no pastries by 9:30am. They had someone on their first day solo on the register with no help who gave sarcastic remarks to any questuons we had. Once we finally finished ordering we received 4/5 orders wrong. When we kindly brought it up, we were given a very rude attitude and response and had to "fight" to actually receive every item we were charged for. Horrible experience, not at all worth subpar food you can easily make at home!

Because of outdated COVID rules, we waited a while to even order just to order with someone new on the register who had no guidance from anyone whatsoever and was very sarcastic in answering any questions we had. I understand the hard hitting worker shortage, but that’s no excuse for bad service. When we kindly brought up an $11 up charge for a small addition of 4 oz of pork to our eggs and toast plate, the manager (and/or owner) was very rude and brash dealing with our dissatisfaction. Considering they were nearly completely out of pastries by 9:30am, not at all worth the experience.
