The owner was.. yikes. Karen vibes from the owner isn’t something you see often.
We ordered our drinks “for here” and the person serving them put them in plastic cups. They didn’t check our vaccine cards (I am vaccinated) and didn’t explain any time limits.
The owner approached us and said “how are we doing on the time limit?” I had no idea what she was talking about—honestly I thought she was talking about parking or something. She asked me who served the drinks but I didn’t want to get anyone in trouble so I said “I’d rather not say.” She said “you need to tell me bc we have a PROBLEM.”
She then rudely implied that we moved the notice off the table explaining the time limit. Instead of kindly asking us to purchase something else she said “it’s kinda lame to come in and sit here using the a/c and wifi without buying anything else.” Had she politely explained their policy, I *OF COURSE* would’ve bought something else but her reaction was so gross I didn’t want to give this business another dollar and without an apology I won’t be back.
It’s funny bc earlier a friend has responded to my Instagram post saying “their coffee is gross” and I was defending it like “yeah but the vibes are on point” but I was mistakennnn. Save yourself the trip and go somewhere where you’re not treated poorly and like a burden.
P.S. The rest of the staff was really nice I hope this mean lady doesn’t treat them poorly :(

Stumble on this by chance and totally love it. Great vibe, cool sign art wall. Good coffe, and yummy dessert to pair with. Totally recommended.

Amazing drinks and apple spiced muffins are delicious. Friendly staff !

The ordering process is so frustrating. Each employee is tasked with doing every duty: taking orders, making coffee, prepping food, and checking out. Inefficient, but decent coffee and baked goods.

Come here everyday after physio for some good coffee. Awesome decor and right in the heart of Kaimuki. Love this place!

The order processing is abysmal. Instead of having one person take orders and the others make the orders, they all rotate constantly and it is very inefficient. The drinks are good. Food is okay. If you walk in and there is a line, don't bother waiting.

Very homey atmosphere for a form bank! And the quiche is always excellent.

Sooooooo good! Had the Thai iced coffee and a latte and it was amazing. Service is amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly. Plus the interior is well spaced out and there is plenty of seating in the cute coffee shop!

Love the food, the staff and the beverages -- parking is paid street or in the nearby lot. Seating is very hard on the butt and tables are small, so having a meeting with food and beverages can be challenging. There is an alcove room with a large table, but it's dark and not really conducive to coffee talk as much as just a meeting for 4 or more. But it's a nice place.

Relaxing place to have a coffee and baked goods. Decently priced with great service. I would recommend the cinnamon roll latte and banana bread.
