The Fancy Kona pourover is fire. Coffee nerds this place is great. Also had a papaya boat, which could be served in a Michelin restaurant. Really thoughtful and carefully made. Excellent hideaway cafe.

My Latte was excellent, my wife ordered a caramel macchiato and it was also just right for her. We had the Papaya Boat... it is the perfect Hawaiian Breakfast! Kiwi, banana, and strawberry slices on a chia and granola bed drizzled with honey and coconut on a sweet papaya halve garnished with mint. The staff is tickle happy and they even waited on us after making our coffees. The is plenty of seating and a confy couch. The feel is very surf shack like space with soothing colors and uncluttered.

One of my favorite places for a healthy and delicious breakfast. Organic Coffee and Smoothies, besides the Breakfast Sandwiches which are a must. Love the decoration too and there is always Surfing passing on TV!

By far my most favorite place in Waikiki. The coffee beans used is of prestine quality. The smoothies are the freshest (sesame banana is so good!) The breakfast sandwiches....this is the only place I'll spend $8-9 on a breakfast sandwich and buy more than one to eat! They're so amazing!!! The papaya boat is the most refreshing fruit bowl on the island!! My girlfriend and I are obsessed with this place and we are so lucky to live on the other side of the building!! I wish I could give this charming place a 10 star review!!

After a week of exploring Wakiki and coffee shops, once or twice every morning, I stumbled across this little gem. The coffee is rich and very well made, the employees are incredibly sweet, and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed sitting here for almost two hours reading my book, chatting with company, and sipping on coffee. I tried the Captain Roys Boat (papaya, tapioca, granola, strawberries, banana, and kiwi), an Americano, a black coffee, and a latte. All were superb. Not to mention the charitable bottle cap drive and reusable messages in this happy shop - this place is perfect if you want sit it and your morning or are in a rush and need quality "joe" on the go.

Food: relatively healthy feel, fresh fruit. Coffee (medium roast) not over-powering, balanced. Gluten free options.

Ambiance: chill, non-tourist feeling, local

Service: friendly, easy

Bottom Line: definitely visit to get away from chain restaurant feeling

In my opinion best coffee place in Honolulu. Coffee is good, panini is yummy and staff is SUPER FRIENDLY! Can be a bit crowded in the mornings, but worth it to wait. Just add a few extra minutes and your day will start on the right foot!

Nice little coffee shop right off the main road. The employees are friendly and know the menu well and can make recommendations. The cold brew is great, as is the papaya bowl. I highly recommend this coffee shop if you’re in the area. Support local businesses 🙂

Great place to grab a morning coffee and a healthy breakfast! I highly recommend the açaí bowl (served after 10:30am)- it is to die for. To top it off the staff was friendly and welcoming!

I tried the iced Honey Spiced latte & it was glorious. It was lightly sweet with a touch of cinnamon. The coffee is smooth & 100% organically grown in Hawaii & they have milk alternatives like oat milk, which was a huge plus. Definitely support this local gem. You will not be disappointed!
