Kona coffee purveyors is great, but if you want to skip the hour long line and get an equally good cup of locally grown and roasted coffee check out this local spot. It’s just as good (which both are amazing) and there is ever a long line.

They have a small breakfast menu too with papaya boats, croissant sandwiches etc.

Coffee wise, this place is top notch. Local Koa pour over is worth the price. They also do espresso drinks so don’t worry :)

The fruit bowl items are also really good, particularly the presentation on the papaya bowl. Overall it’s a toss up between this place and ALOH for health minded breakfasts (I give 831 the edge for coffee and ALOH the edge on food). Definitely check it out!

The service, the coffee, the flavors!!! Everything was amazing. The Kona pour over coffee was smooth, and the Honey Spiced Latte was divine!! The açaí bowl was full of fresh local fruit!

Great little coffee shop. Total Hole in the wall.

It’s a bit off the main drag but it checked all the boxes, locally roasted, knowledgeable baristas, and plenty of aloha. Worth the hike over from Waikiki and it’s actually open early. Hard to find in Oahu

Nice little hidden gem. Great coffee. Not a lot of seating unfortunately.

Save yourself the 30 minute line in the overhyped coffee shop in the mall (Kona Coffee Purveyors), walk across the street and come here.

Tasty coffee with quick service and friendly staff. They're happy to explain menu options to you and get you exactly what you're looking for, and the sustainable angle of the shop means you have to ask for things like lids, stir sticks & straws (something I'm personally a fan of). Foam was quite good and held up through a mile fast-walk back to my hotel with no spills despite no lid. Would definitely go back, and recommend vs the extremely long lines just across the street. There's a few reasons this place is rated so well!

8oz coffee and criossant $20. I mean I'm not opposed to an amazing Criossant for a price, but this wasn't. They wouldn't let me get an additional egg instead of bacon, weird. Over priced, not up to the standard for the $$$. Yummy coffee but at 7 dollars for 8oz? That's kooky.

Great espresso! After being thoroughly disappointed with the coffee I was getting along the beach I wandered a bit further and ended up with the best cup of coffee I've had so far in Waikiki.

Even with the extra walk time from the beach, it was still faster than waiting in line at one of the more "popular" coffee shops. Well worth the walk

Pleasant surprise on the breakfast food!
It’s really good and there’s no queue!

Very short distance from the beach, but very welcome to skip the bustle. The acai bowls looked amazing, but I came for the coffee. A well done 8 oz flat white with well textured milk finished with a heart on top. Well bodied, dark chocolate and hint of floral notes. Coffee is 100% Hawaiian and bags of coffee were priced competitively. Strong recommendation for those who love their flat whites.
