Review of Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Ward

Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Ward: A coffee lover's paradise

If you're looking for a cozy and comfortable place to enjoy a cup of coffee, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Ward is the perfect spot for you. This cafe chain is known for its signature ice-blended drinks, but it also serves a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies.

The cafe is located at 1180-1198 Queen St, Honolulu, HI 96814, and is open every day of the week. Its operating hours are from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM from Monday to Saturday and from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sundays.

The cafe's interior is clean, organized, and well-maintained. There are plenty of seats available, both indoors and outdoors, making it an ideal place to work, study, or catch up with friends. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they go out of their way to make sure that customers are satisfied with their orders.

While the coffee is the main attraction, the cafe also offers a variety of food items, including sandwiches and bagels. However, some customers have reported that the food can be hit or miss, with some items being plain or stale. Prices are reasonable, but customers should note that there is a $5 minimum for coffee orders after 12:00 PM.

In summary, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Ward is a great place to grab a cup of coffee or tea and relax. Its cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious drinks make it a must-visit for coffee lovers in the area.

A nice small store with a few seating tables inside with more tables outside. Staff wasn’t very friendly nor helpful when I asked them questions. Plant-based milk are all 99cents extra. Straws are plastic. No free refills. A few types of coffee and tea can be refilled for $1.25.

If you’re looking for something to warm you up while shopping at Ward, you must come here for the Red Velvet Cocoa! Or Peppermint Cocoa - have to come back and try that one another time...

They also have pastries and savories for lunch, as well as desserts - gotta try the mochi ice cream flavors!

Coffee is good but don’t recommend getting any food here, every item I’ve had, a sandwich or a bagel it’s been disappointing, very plain or on the stale or soggy side.

good coffee! a lot of coffee bean and teas add a lot of ice to their iced drinks so be careful and ask for “low ice” if you prefer to have more drink than water in your cup!

Beautiful sitting . Nice cafe . But unfortunately. My ice coffee was no coffee taste at all . It is like only milk with just a little coffee favorite 😑

Service is HORRIBLE! Went there on Saturday 3.15pm to grab a sandwitch. The staff were making a coffee and avocado toast and asked me to wait. After 5min waiting and a line that was getting longer and longer I decided to go somewhere else. Why not checking out your customers (takes 10 seconds) and then finish up the toast you are working on? So inefficient..

Store is clean, organized, and staff was super friendly. Our barista was especially helpful and really went above and beyond re: customer service.

Located in the open-atmosphere South Shore Market, this a clean and modernly designed cafe. As the name implies, coffee and tea are served, along with baked goods. Compared to Starbucks, CBTL tend to be on the sweeter side.

For students / remote workers:
+ Free WiFi
+ Free parking
+ Indoor and outdoor seating (seating also available throughout the market)
+ Outlets on the pillar near the window
- It's an open ceiling + entrance cafe, so sound is medium level (I personally like it)

Great customer service. Lots of free covered parking in structure and clean bathrooms at South Shore Market. Menu is a little confusing but baristas are helpful.

No seating inside shop, but small tables in the main, small mall, a large, family-style shared table in center of mall, and multiple outdoor spaces and benches to have a sip and chat.

Prices a little high.

Down a star because this franchise (part of the national chain) in Hawai'i doesn't participate in any of the app promotions, gift cards, or points for the company's app. Don't know why. If they did, would up it a star.

Walked in and the guy at the Register not only did not greet me, he saw me and went straight to the phone to make a call when there was nobody else in the store. Customer service skills lacking much 🙄 In such a competitive market, it reminds me of Box Jelly's disgraceful Manager and Service protocol.

I will NOT be back. Aloha
