Kohala Coffee Mill

Ordered a scoop of mango ice cream and a small coffee. They had me wait 5 min then gave me the wrong ice cream and called the wrong name for it. I corrected them and then several more min later had the right ice cream but made me wait another 5 min for the coffee, and couldn’t actually remember what I’d ordered. The coffee thermos was literally right next to the counter, but they couldn’t be bothered to pour it. By the time they provided the coffee, the ice cream had melted. Don’t waste your money or your time here. There are better places to go.

I had the Moa - no photo because I ate it quick fast. Top notch, fresh ingredients, and a chef who clearly knows how to put together flavors. House made pesto was insane, and I could eat the sweet potato salad every day. Delicious. I haven’t tried the ice cream yet, but looking forward to it. Mahalo for the great service and food!

This was where I bought my first cup of coffee when I moved to the island, and it was amazing. I'm glad that it's part of my story. There is definitely a down to earth real vibe going on here, and the coffee was amazing.

I am definitely looking forward to returning for some talk story. It is definitely a very special place in my heart ❤️ as I felt welcome here from the start. Mahalo

Couldn’t resist waking across the street from the Bamboo Restaurant once we heard they had ice cream here!! Took the time to order, sit and eat double dip waffle cones! Delicious, coconut creme pie and banana creme pie ice cream, the hubs had coffee and macadamia nut for his two scoops! Y’all... really... THE BEST!

This place is one of the best for a coffee break! Ice-creams are delicious!

Great stop for Hawaiian coffee and Macadamia Nuts

Driving through Hawi and I wanted a coffee so we stopped in. The "kids" behind the counter were a little more interested in talking to each other than taking my order. Once I did order it was made reasonably quickly. My drink tasted good, I was pleased with it. Overall it was a decent stop in a cute little town, but the service could stand to improve.

Service was good and the ice cream was AMAZING! The banana storm ice cream was out of this world! I’ll be really sad when we leave and I won’t have access to the ice cream any more!
My daughter had the vanilla ice cream and it was delicious. The ice cream is so creamy and tastes great too.
The store sells souvenirs and cute items created locally.
