My hubby just took me on a phenomenal date to St James. It was awesome. The staff ( including the chefs) were friendly and welcoming. The food was perfect. We have been there several times and it never disappoints

We ordered the steak frites medium rare, which came well done and with fast food style fries that were quite salty (we were expecting handcut fries with more balanced seasoning). We also ordered the pan grilled octopus. For each piece, half was fairly chewy and half was charred. The atmosphere and staff were decent, but we were disappointed with the food received.

Jason & his wife have replicated the excellence they had while at Glen Arven for many years. Uniquely interesting & fresh menu, artisan coffee drinks & a dessert selection you'd be missing out if you didn't leave room for. No worries, the desserts are available for take home.
Worth the trip from Bainbridge.

We’ve been to St James twice and the food is delicious, the ambiance is great, the cocktails are superb and the service is amazing. We had the pleasure to meet the owner and he is very nice and makes you feel right at home. I truly recommend it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟

Seriously could not love this place, the people, food and drinks MORE. The ambiance is incredible and the service is 10/10. It has been such an amazing addition to Thomasville and we are so thankful to have it. Cindi is the best server ever!!!!!! Ask for her!

Wow! Thomasville is so fortunate to have St James . Everything about it was fantastic. We don't need to drive to Apalachicola for great oysters. The Alabama Pearl oysters were wonderful and served with sophisticated accompaniments. DELICIOUS! Their burger is spot on!
The service was exceptional. Our new go to.

We were so excited to try this new restaurant. To say that it was a disappointment would be an understatement. From the drinks to the food…..total disappointment. We each ordered a Paloma which had little to no alcohol in it. The appetizers were average. The main entrees came and all of our dishes were extremely salty. My husband ordered the ribeye….which is $79……and they didn’t even get the meat temp right. If you are proud enough to charge $79 for a piece of meat…..no sides……that thing better come out perfectly cooked. I ordered the short rib pasta and it was so salty that I couldn’t eat it. Our waitress was sweet, but we sat waiting for our check for at least 20 minutes. The whole experience was a very expensive disappointment.

We were not impressed at all. From the second we walked in, we did not get greeted in the way you would expect to get greeted in a nice restaurant. The hostesses looked at us as if we weren’t supposed to be there. The service was terrible. We could tell that no one wanted us there because we were young (we are all 28-30 years old). The first round of drinks was great, the second round, the drinks seemed completely different and not very good at all. The Margherita pizza was a fairly weak excuse for a pizza.. it seemed like a kids pizza. We never once got asked if our food or drinks were good or if we needed anything. Definitely a lot to iron out with this place.
