It's cute and has a homey feel. Staff was very polite, friendly service. You can dine in with plenty of places to sit, or get your order to go. Lots of selections and they will still fix it like you want. Many different varieties of fresh made bagels. There is a sign when you walk in that lets you know what the special is for the day. Today was a breakfast burrito with tater tots, or a tomato basil bagel. So much to choose from. I hope to see you there soon.
I chose a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese, and for my lunch I also added a fresh scoop of Dee Dee's chicken salad, which is nut free. The bagel is so large that I shared it with 2 friends. If I had been really nice I would have shared it with my husband, but he was at work. With this being Mother's Day weekend, I'll try and get him to take me back tomorrow. If not I will go and get me some more choices to take to work with me.

I had the Classic on a plain bagel and it was amazing. The lox were generous slices but not too thick and everything was very fresh and very reasonably priced. The muffins were still warm and we could see the bagels being made.

I adore the lox and cream cheese bagel!! So so good. I've also had the western omlet bagel and that was good too. My hubby always enjoys his breakfast sandwich! Also, the coffee is great.

I ordered 400 bagels and they were ready in .0000002 seconds. Like I timed it. It smells great in there! like it smells very specifically like lawn clippings. My pet gecko was killed in a bagel accident when I was a small child, and ever since I've had a distaste and traumatic memories of bagels. I decided to face my fear the day I walked into Empire Bagels. And I can now say that I don't blame the bagel that tragically was the cause of my geckos untimely death. At the end of the day, a bagel is a bagel and a gecko is a gecko, we can all move on eventually. My only complaint would be that the bagels tasted too much like a bagel. I get some people like it that way, but I dont know maybe switch it up every once in a while.

I get a kick out of the review that says the staff is friendly. I don't think anybody in there was smiling for the exception of maybe the manager dude came out from the back. The girl at the register obviously hated being there. You may wait almost 20 minutes for one poppy seed bagel ,that wasn't even toasted, with cream cheese. They're really lucky they're the only game in town. If you're smart open up one across the street and you'll make a fortune with good service and maybe a smile would be nice.

Bagels here were very good. The place was a little small and overcrowded for my liking, but I guess that's just a testament to how good their food is. Not really a place to go with a large group but the food is available to take out and that seems like a popular option. Didn't try much more on the menu than the bagels and coffee, but I would recommend what I got to try.

Delicious bagels, shmears, and sandwiches, but I ordered a half dozen bagels and only got five...
*Edit : I originally gave four stars for the missing bagel, but the owner reached out privately to make it right. The customer service really is five-star.
