So unique and retro. Nice and quiet. Loved the coffee and cake, my lemonade was too tart, even after mix it with water and with a really sweet cake on the side, order tea if you’re not into coffee, lemonade is way too tart.

Great eclectic coffee and tea shop! It is a short distance from the touristy shops by the river, but it feels miles away. They have comfy chairs scattered around the dining area. It's a great place to sit and read or talk. Their coffee is good, and they have a lot of snack options: bagels, croissants, pies, and cookies.

It was fine and maybe I'm the wrong person for this review but it didn't seem like it was worth the 45 minute wait in line. More of a trendy spot to chill than a place for exceptional coffee...

Love the ambience and the decor. However the line was long the service was slow the food was cold when it was supposed to be hot. I asked for it to be warmed waited 12 minutes and then just left.

Was in the area and decided to check this place out.
Pros:
It’s a decent coffee shop
tons of seating options
Decent sized menu
Good place to study or read
Cons:
Ordered a chicken salad croissant sandwich with a coke and a slice of cherry cheesecake. The food was decent. Just did not like how the sandwich completely fell apart making it super messy to eat.
Second was how pricey the food was. For the amount I paid, I could’ve gotten a higher quality of meal at one of the other restaurants across the street.
Third, I have to agree with what another person had posted an earlier review. This place has a slight pretentious vibe. Having traveled a lot, I’ve been to more than my fair share of various coffee shops that are far more unique, eclectic or have a fun vibe. This place far from compares. I love how welcoming majority of places in Savannah are but this is not one of them. The baristas either had emotionless, stern or annoyed facial expressions.
Fourth, the cushioned chairs and sofas are completely worn out. They look nice provide no support. You will fall into them once you sit down. Probably 90% of the patrons were using the wooden chairs most likely due to the this issue.
Overall, I guess it’s a decent place if you want or find a calm place to study other than the library. However, if I’m showing visiting friends around the area and want to grab a coffee and some snacks, I’ll more than likely take them to one of the other coffee shops in the area.
Update: With half of my cheesecake left when I needed to head out, I asked the staff for a to go box. They said that they would have to charge me a fee for the to go container. I don’t think I’ve ever been told that before. Even more annoyed with the place, I left the cheesecake. It wasn’t good enough to pay extra to take my leftovers home.

Long line, it was worth it. The place look like from the 70s or 80s, people aren’t in rush those place don’t exist anymore in USA (we are to busy to stay in line for coffee). Coffee is good not expensive the best thing here is the atmosphere

So cozy place. Excelente coffee and pastry so delicious, but for my surprise they have a fantastic Mimossa.

Nice place for a coffee and a hang. The sign inside says it's the oldest coffee shop in Savannah. Not sure if that's true or not yet it is a nice break from the corporate approved interior design esthetic. It's a pretty eclectic collection of tables and chairs and the place wears it's "age" well. Lot's of fresh pastry and oh yea, the coffee is swell too. Service was polite and prompt:) My only criticism was my coffee may have been too hot - I know weird, right! I know from making my own espresso at home, the steamed milk (cappuccino) should be too hot, it scalds the milk you know...lol. Yet my coffee was really hot, too hot. My cap didn't have that nice rich mouth feel you usually enjoy. Go, sit, chill and enjoy the view of one of Savannah's great squares:)

Stumbled into this hip little place looking for a latte and so glad that I did! I ordered a chai latte with almond milk and it's the best one I've ever had! The selection of pastries and gluten free options is extensive & yummy looking -all home made. I love the old furniture, makes this place unique and cozy. Also, check out the bathrooms -full of old flyers and posotcards etc.

This is one of the oldest coffee shops in Savannah. Absolutely beautiful, a lot of art on the walls, very much a coffee shop vibe.
I had my chai tea and my daughter had the iced thai coffee. She said the coffee was brilliant and my chai was not bad either. My chai was not hot enough, in spite of asking her to make it extra hot, so I asked the server to steam it some more and it turned out perfect.
Second visit in two days, another server who wasn't necessarily smiling at her job. That's the second server in two days that hasn't smiled. Maybe it's a local/tourist thing.
