This place is so cute and charming, but the food and coffee weren’t my favorite. Since the waffles have the sugar crust you would expect of a Belgian waffle, I probably would have enjoyed it more with something simple like a lemon slice or less sweet whipped cream. I got the waffle with Nutella and strawberries on the Valentine’s menu, and it was just too sweet for my taste. I also got the sea salt mocha with macadamia milk and the drink was overall very sweet so hard to discern the notes of the salt, chocolate, and macadamia. I would still recommend going because the atmosphere is so cute! If you like sweet food and drinks, this will definitely be up your alley. If I were to go back I would definitely ask them for recommendations on less sweet menu items or how to reduce the sweetness of any drink.
An absolute must stop place when in downtown savannah. The waffles are divine and the coffee compliments them perfectly. The look and vibe of the shop is amazing and so cute. Always appears clean and staff is nice and helpful.
Food was decent, prices are out of control. What is with all these places charging a fortune for food then asking you to tip on top of it? They just hand you your food at the counter. Madness. 4 sandwiches, 2 small coffees, and one waffle, $77.68 with tip. Was good but will not be returning.
**Response** Yeah I mean I get the general inflation, I own a business too. But it still has to be reasonable. Its your business and you can charge what you want but may need to review pricing. Savannah Coffee Roasters demolishes your prices. Got nearly the same selection for $37 less. I want small businesses to succeed but has to be reasonable. If I'm getting steaks with my wife at longhorn for the same price that I'm getting grilled turkey sandwiches, which one will the average person choose?
I saw the menu and was extremely disappointed in the fact that they changed it, no fresh fruit on anything and they apogized that they ran out of whipped cream, how do you run out of whipped cream at 8:30 in the morning. The grill needed cleaning badly as you can see from the charred black bits left in the container but the waffle was covered in it too. I can understand being understaffed, but unprepared and with dirty equipment is unacceptable. For the price, you are better off at an IHOP. I took my son and father in law here intending to give them a real treat and it was far lacking in every area I hoped for. Menu should be fixed and better standards of cleanliness.
I stopped in here on a recommendation for the Peach Cobbler waffle. When in Georgia, do as Georgians do, right? I was not disappointed. The waffle was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which when parried with the whipped cream and peach spread, was a perfect brunch on a hot Savannah day. Can't wait to stop in again and give their coffee a try!
Food and drinks generally okay, but nothing out of the ordinary. Plus, it's pricey as the it's located in the historical district and the inflation (Jan-2023). We've been here a couple of times. To us, it's because of the location. Right outside The Cathedral Basilica of Saint John the Baptist. We can just grab some cups of Joes. Well actually, there were/is NO quick grabbing every time we were there, we waited for more than 30 minus (this time) for our foods and drinks are about 10-15 minutes.
Our order of drinks were usually simple: an Americanos, Matcha Latte (ok, this one might not be quick. Organic Uji Matcha, Steamed Milk), and the Pearl (Rooibos Tea, Lavender Flower, Whipped Lemon Honey, Spot of Cream).
Our foods orders: S’MORES (Toasted Marshmallows, Housemade Chocolate Ganache, Graham Streusel). A CROQUE MONSIEUR (Liège Waffle, Maple Smoked Ham, Melted Swiss, Black Pepper Béchamel). CLASSIC LIÈGE (Authentic Liège Waffle, Powdered Sugar) the Croque Monsieur was served on the Liège Waffle. I know Liège Waffle is their signature, but if I know, I would have asked it to be served on bread as the waffle added the unnecessary extra sweetness. It's "Monsieur" for a reason. 😁💪👨
What we really DON"T care for is the service and or the lack there of, and the service is very limited anyway. They like to get tips, but reluctant to render the service. Keep in mind, the tip is normally meant for "table service", not to be mistaken for you'all sitting behind the counter, while the customers end up serving themselves, and clean up after they're done with drink/foods. BTW, there's no table available. Not because they are that busy, but because there's no space!
They told us that food won't be ready for 30 mins, we asked if they can just keep the food for us until after we're done with attending Mass. They were reluctant (Whaaaat?!). You made us wait 30 minutes, but reluctant to keep our food for a little bit after?! I normally would dish out 'respectfully' for such attitude, but since that would end up causing me a trip to ... repentant. I took a deep breath, and sucked it all in gratefully. Hahahaha ...😁🙏🏼😇😊
Oh my gosh, it's soooooo good! The waffles were amazing, just covered in toppings! They could even be dessert if you wanted. My husband got the Breakfast Sammie and it was delicious as well. And the friendly employees made a great breakfast even better!
Very cute spot, seems to be popular for kids at a nearby school for break? Staff was meh. Maybe if you're a regular they might be more warmer as I noticed who the regulars were. I was actually enjoying my drink and waffle when I noticed a hair in my food. I tried to pull it off thinking it maybe mine but it was embedded in the waffle. I didn't feel the staff would do anything so I just stopped eating and left.
Quirky place, but surely the focus should be on the drinks. Tepid chocolate would have been a more apt name, and when asked for it to be actually hot, the member of staff appeared to think this was a strange request. The cappuccino was more like warm milk. Not sure where the coffee was. Far better places on the area.

Nice little spot to grab a coffee and a waffle treat. The ricotta toast was a great combination that made my morning.
