I so wanted to give them a 3 star, but I just couldn't. The food was sub‐par and coffee was OK at best; too milky and a bit watery. Would have loved for the coffee to come through more.
Simple food, seemed like the whipped cream and peaches came from a can. Felt like the food was from a chain restaurant. eh...
Everything came in a to-go container even though we ate there, which I wasn't expecting. They are using compostable silverware and containers which is nice to see juxtaposed to other Savannah restaurants who are still using Styrofoam!
Personally, I wouldn't go back. We went to an amazing vegan restaurant - Fox & Fig - where not only was the food exceptional, but they even brought your food to you. Here we had pick it up ourselves once our name came across the loud speakers. Not so enjoyable when your sitting outside trying to relax.
Cute little cafe just across the church. Not too much selection, but we tried their famous Liege Waffles and it was the bomb. This is how waffles should be: crispy on the outside yet cakey on the inside. Served with generous helpings of toppings, whipped cream and powdered sugar. Heavenly, but definitely very rich.
The London Fog (Earl Grey Latte) I ordered was really good and not so sweet. A good contrast to have with the decadent waffles. There are some outside seating perfect for sunny mornings in Savannah.
This place is good for a quick small brunch indulgence. If only waffles from wafflehouse can be half this good...
Very cool local coffee shop. The atmosphere is a mix of the historic feel of Savannah and the trendy modern coffee shop vibe as well. Nicely priced and a very good variety of traditional and unique offerings.
Best croque monssiuer I've had in a while. Putting it on a waffle was a great twist. Smaller than some other places, but perfect for a nice lunch. The raspberry lavender lemonade was also awesome.
The liege waffles are excellent, I had a savory one with bacon and cheese, and I really liked it! The chocolate crossiant was also very good, though i couldn't tell if it was made in house or supplied from a bakery. The coffee was just alright to me. The service was good however! They were super accommodating to my request for change after my car battery died parked at a coin meter. Friendly, caring and over all an excellent experience!
Nice coffee but the sandwiches were disappointing. The cheese on my toasted cheese sandwich was not melted and the bread was dry. We found it expensive too - $28 for 2 coffees and takeaway sandwiches!
The food was great. My wife and daughter went back there twice cuz they liked it so much. It's a little cramped in there though so make sure you're skinny.
One of my favorite places in Savannah! Cute shop in a fabulous location across from the cathedral. Coffee is delicious, and I dream about the peach cobbler waffle. I take everyone who visits Savannah here!
First waffle had a hair woven into it. "Sometimes sugary can be stringy and look like hair" was what we were told. (The HAIR was dark brown....) They did remake it, and gave it to us burnt. I guess it was good, at least the unburnt parts.

The liege classic waffle was super good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not a huge restaurant— very limited seating.
