It was good overall. Got the five spice and pork belly rice bowls. The taste of the meat was good but was missing something like a sauce or coating to bring it up a level. After the meat was done there was just a bunch of rice left that lacked flavor (sauce or meat juice/fat would come clutch here). Pickled veggies were good tho. I had Vietnamese coffee and it was pretty good. It was stronger than regular coffee (as it should be) but not too strong. Overall good place.
Inviting from the first step through the door. It felt comfortable like somewhere you could actually sit and take your time when you have time...better yet, even when you don't. The bathroom was amazing too! If the bathroom is great, the rest of the place has to be at a great standard too!!!
To die for bread. Shared the signature sandwich and it was delicious. So much so that I can’t wait to go back tomorrow at 10am to pick up an another sandwich to try before we go. Better than even some famous NYC places we’ve been to. And it’s reasonably price for the city center if you want a tasty lunch or snack. Ingredients were fresh and light. Perfect after walking around on a hot day in Savannah.
Stopped in for late night coffee. Place was clean and staff helpful. Ordered a $5.50 special Maple Cinnamon Latte. I believe they forgot the maple and cinnamon. Also got a tea, which was not very hot. Both drinks were small sized as well. They were also out of decaf coffee. I'd think that would be a big seller late night. Overpriced und underperforming. Hopefully this is a one off occurrence.
Really good! The pickled vegetables (daikon, carrots, and cucumber) add a lot to the food. The sandwiches here are a good balance of contrasting flavors and textures resulting from the crunchy/fresh/sweet/sour of the pickled vegetables, spicy from the jalapenos, and the savoriness of the meat and toasted bread. Will come here again!
We were visiting Savannah when we walked by Le Banh on the way back to our hotel and decided to grab a quick snack. We weren't expecting much as we live in a city that has a large Vietnamese population and plenty of good Vietnamese restaurants. We ordered a pork belly banh mi and a lemongrass rice bowl and were completely satisfied. The two items we ordered were as good as anything we get back home. Prices are reasonable and the restaurant was clean and seemed well-run.

A++ Banh Mi, and a stellar selection of drinks to complement. Next time I come, I’ll have to try the hand tossed pizza!

I am a huge cafe girl because I am a New Yorker, and I live for walking around finding the cutest spots. Awesome vibes, decor and people!!!

Love that there’s now a place in Savannah dedicated to bahn mi. High-quality bread, meat, and great Thai tea as well.
