Great shop.. but as an LGBT friendly place I would recommend asking the customers preferred name instead of just going off what their debit card says. There are many transgender folks who may not have had their names changed yet and saying their birth name in front of others could potentially out them which is obviously very distressing. Other than that I would recommend this place to anyone.

I wanted to share our experience with Anjel. We were in town from South Florida and were looking for a vegan bakery, for my mothers 80th birthday. We came across Henny Penny and they seemed highly recommended. We were a little skeptical at first being from out of town and not knowing the area or the restaurant, but we were impressed with Anjel and her customer service. She took our order and had our cake ready, on time with no hiccups. To top it off, the cake was amazing! Far exceeded our expectations, thank you so much Henny Penny and Anjel.

Coffee fine but nothing special. Very kid centric which is odd for a coffee house. It does differentiate them but not good way. To each his own. The hipsters with kids seems like a thin market.

Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Savannah!

Another gem in the "Fox Collection" (which is the loving way I refer to Coffee Fox, Foxy Loxy, Fox and Fig Cafe conglomerate of eateries) with seriously bomb horchata lattes and a fun assortment of trinkets and stationery.

A must if you're in Savannah and especially if you have kids. There's a whole collection of tables dedicated to crafts for kids and fun specialty drinks for them too.

Great food & coffee. Very happy, bright atmosphere, with friendly baristas. Perfect spot for parents to enjoy an outing, with arts & crafts for the kids to stay occupied.

Betty Jean Mader

Really good food and coffee without the long lines. Very kid friendly.

Rita Jones

Great atmosphere, coffee was on spot and sandwich was so good!

Henny Penny is a great little spot to get coffee and a pastry. It is smaller and cozier than Foxy Loxy, so it is good spot during the week to have a meeting or work. The seating is mostly for kids, since they do art classes.

Delicious treats, including vegan baked goods. Excellent service. My family drove out of the way to stop here and it was so worthwhile.
