I would really give this place a 3.5 but I just rounded it to 4 because they have innovative drinks and a cool artsy ambience. The stools are too small and it's v kid friendly but if you don't want that then it's not the place for u. They have a cool tie up with Leopold's ice cream and have mixed that into their menu- so if.youre looking for a relaxing time with ur kid and want some nice coffee or matcha and ice cream this is the place. If you're looking for a more homely studious vibe maybe not the spot.

My husband and I have been regulars at Henny Penny since it first opened. Unfortunately we have noticed a huge decline in customer service in the past few months. Constant wrong orders and rude staff (except for Jake, Jake is awesome). After talking to others I have found this is a sad trend for a lot of people. Giving three stars because the food and drink are outstanding and this remains our favorite atmosphere out of all of the “Foxy” locations. However, we will be sticking with the Coffee Fox and Foxy Loxy from now on.

I could buy someone all their birthday presents in this one store. From artwork to coffee and clothing and accessories. Delicious drinks and snacks and very friendly and knowledgeable Baristas. It's also a place for children to come and do art and it looks like a lot of fun. I love it!

I LOVE this place, I moved to Savannah around a year ago and can’t get enough! Everyone there is so chill and friendly and the food is so good. I could eat their countryside panini every day for the rest of my life and die a happy man. Go here!

Awesome place! Cute space and amazingly delicious food! Vegan friendly and the best part is they make their caramel, horchata, and mocha from scratch! And even vegan caramel!?? WHAT!!!!

A disaster.
I called 3 days ahead of time to order a birthday cake. "Cake will be here and ready when we open on Friday at 6:30 am" I was told. Not true, not there, not ready. "Come back at 8:00 it will be ready " I was told. Cake was cold, stale, not purple and lilac but YELLOW, my daughter loves purple- hates yellow. I got a 25 per cent discount. I wanted a purple cake not a discount.

i spent 2 years of my life as a barista, and the nature of espresso is this: you can make the same drink the same way 500 times, and for reasons beyond human comprehension, 1 out of those 500 will be bad. today, I was unfortunate enough to get the bad drink. no hard feelings, it just happens.
but I informed the worker at the counter that the drink tasted bad, and the man making the coffee, an older white guy, immediately began to give me hostility. he asked me what I ordered, I replied that I got a café con Leche with skim & a little bit of extra simple syrup. he replied, "oh, you wanted it extra sweet?" to which I said "yes, a little bit." he remade the drink and handed it to me without saying anything and left immediately. I see why! the second drink was unbearably sweet, presumably out of spite? way beyond what anyone would assume is desired when asked for "a little bit of extra simple syrup." honestly upsetting to be treated like that when I just wanted the cup of coffee that I've had there many times before.
I leave 2 stars instead of 1 because I have found everyone else who works there to be lovely, and my other experiences at this café have been very nice. as much as my partner enjoys the food here, we're likely going to pivot back to Foxy Loxy to avoid malicious amounts of sugar.

Henny penny is so cute! On the left is the cafe and creperie, and on the right is the art space where people can adorn and paint and decorate their own art. And, dogs are allowed inside as long as they stay in the art side of the establishment, I thought that was fantastic.
