We enjoyed the food and drinks, and service was wonderful. Our fave drink was “obsession.” Dessert items a must try—our faves were the tres leche/tiramisu cake, crème brûlée, and the toffee flavors chocolate cake with ice cream!

LOVE THIS BAR ! Second time going and for a good reason. I remember the drinks being cute and this place having great small plates. My memory didn't serve it justice tbh! This time was amazing, our bartender .. Rachel I think.. blonde sweet, young twenties really went above and beyond with making a custom drink with cucumber that was to diiie for! They need to add whatever magic she made into their menu. Also the duck confetti mushroom plate was soooo good I may come back just for that alone, so please don't take it off the menu. It's a killer dish and I need that every time I come. 1000 🌟

Everything was great! We have come into the select multiple times and always receive phenomenal service at the bar from Matt and Jacob. The drinks are beautifully crafted and taste delicious! The items we have tried on the menu so far have been great and we look forward to coming back again. Thank you again to Matt and Jacob for always making our time here so enjoyable.

tl;dr: Just get drinks and dessert at the bar

I was very excited to finally dine at The Select due to the beautiful decor and great reviews. I read that happy hour would be from 5-10PM while making the reservations. Unfortunately, we were told that happy hour was ONLY at the bar (the only area with the flower decorations) AFTER my friend and I were seated on the patio. I decided to sit on the patio since the inside had a strong fish smell. Not a single waiter approached my table for 30 MINUTES after being seated, despite seeing multiple waiters glancing at my table. After bringing this to the attention of the host twice and to the attention of multiple servers multiple times. This type of service does not correlate with their policy regarding reservation deposits and potential charges if you don’t show up. Given the location and how persistent I had to be, I can’t help but wonder if this was based on my demographics/appearance. The restaurant was only about 50% full when I arrived. We were finally served by Nicole who made up for this with her amazing service and fun vibe.

We ordered the sweet and spicy brussel sprouts, miso sea bass, scallops with asparagus, lobster Mac and cheese, and warm chocolate cake. Everything had a beautiful presentation, great colors, textures etc…The brussel sprouts and warm chocolate cake were great. I had the La Pasión cocktail and a ginger margarita with CBD, which were also good. Everything else was extremely underwhelming/disappointing in terms of flavor. My food was also not hot. I don’t see myself returning.

Amazing restaurant. We had a reservation and they seated us quickly. The bar area is so cool. Love the ceiling art and the live music. The patio looks amazing for warmer weather too. They have valet but there is free deck and street parking too. Just might take a bit to find a spot on the street.

The drinks were delicious and beautiful. The Bird of Paradise was in a special glass and so pretty. Their version of a whiskey sour was perfect. Square ice cube, a touch of rosemary, super fresh!

The food was amazing! We started and shared a few things...octopus, charcuterie board and the fresh oysters. All amazing. Loved everything. The charcuterie board had a big selection of great cheeses and meats with honey, jam and almonds. The oysters were super fresh and loved the hot sauce, horse radish, and all the sauces and lemons were perfect.

I split the scallops and the miso sea bass for dinner. Both dishes were so yummy! I lived the seas bass...nicely prepared with forbidden rice and bok choy. The scallops were perfect.

We finished with creme brulee and the apple tart...both so tasty! The creme brulee was so creamy and had a bit of fruit. Apple tart with the vanilla ice cream was so tasty!

Less than impressed with this restaurant. Made a reservation for Mother’s Day and checked the menu prior to make sure there was something my brother could eat. We arrived for our reservation and was told they were running behind and she had no IDEA when we would be seated….making my reservation pointless. Which is very irritating because I actually wanted to cancel this reservation but I was told I would be charged if I canceled within 24hrs. We sat for an hour in the cold (they didn’t have the heaters on even though many people were having to wait outside). After an hour, I checked and and was told ‘we texted you’, which did not happen. They did give us some apology champagne but when we got seated they had changed the entire menu! Which happens of course, but I checked the menu the night before and not only had they raised the prices on a lot of menu items (Mother’s Day tax?!) but they had removed the items my brother could eat. TLDR it was not a great experience, the food didn’t make up for it in any way and I wouldn’t recommend.

Large portions of food, with a nice atmosphere. We came for brunch, and there was a variety of cocktails that you can even add CBD to if you would like. Nice for couples and older families.

One of the most beautiful restaurants in Atlanta!!! Drinks are strong but a little expensive. We got oysters and apps and our server was so nice and attentive!

I made a reservation for a table on ladies night. I ended up sitting at the bar which was crowded and fun. There was live entertainment and she was great! It was a mixed but mature crowd. No seating was available. They cancelled my reservation because no table opened up but I was fine at the bar.

I started a tab with Lauren I think that’s her name she looked to be of Asian decent and very sweet who I initially gave my card to. She made me a great margarita with grand marnier. I ordered the wedge salad with lobster and omitted the blue cheese for balsamic vinaigrette. It was great but $34 is a little pricey for one iceberg lettuce and a bit of lobster. She then suggested the sticky toffee for dessert. Omg it was mouth watering!!!!!! I will go just for that.

Now here is where things started to go south. I befriended lady sitting next to me and offered to buy both of our next drinks which would make a total of 3 on my tab. Some other bartender makes our drink this time she had a bun in her hair. It was very light in color (grand marnier turns it brown at the base) compared to our first rounds which let us know the grand marnier was omitted. We tasted our drinks and there want even a hint of it. We informed the bartender with the bun that it was not added and she lied to us with an attitude insisting that it was premixed. We told her we didn’t taste and and she literally just turned her backs to us without saying a word. I didn’t want to play the race card but that’s what it kind of seemed like to us. Then another bartender with her hair straight came over and gave us both a shot of grand marnier. We thanked her graciously.

When it was time for the check Lauren brought out my check of $109 but didn’t bring my card so then the other bartender with the straight hair ran it and it was $20 more than before. Now mind you I had already tipped outside of my check. So when I asked about it the bartender with the straight hair told me that I had a tab open before I sat at the bar. I couldn’t believe it. I don’t know if she thought I was drunk or what but after about 10 minutes Lauren was able to wave the extra drink that had been added to my tab.

I had two negative experiences with two different bartenders in the same night here so I would recommend asking for Lauren I think that’s her name to serve you or just pay close attention to what you order and how your drink is being made.

I will definitely return because the atmosphere was fun but if Lauren isn’t serving me then I may just eat & drink before I come. Follow my Instagram @rosadivina29 and check out my foodie & foodie 2 highlights for more places I’ve visited!
