The Select Restaurant + Bar

Honestly, I only visited this restaurant for the ambiance, but the food was really great. We had French toast and a benedict, both were great. Friendly staff and of course beautiful ambiance. Little dissatisfied with the drinks though. The bird of paradise drink was good, but mimosa and sangria weren’t so good. And thanks to them, for the complimentary dessert, for my birthday. Definitely recommended.

I have seen a lot in social media about this restaurant. My wife and me decided to come for our valentines date night. This restaurant is awesome … we had the best waiter ever… he knew the whole menu by heart and suggested the majority of what we ate. Jonathan N you were amazing! Such a lovely place with incredible atmosphere and sweet staff. The hostesses made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. The server was attentive and friendly. Food was delicious, warm, and fresh. We had the lobster omelette, chicken sandwich, cinnamon roll, lychee martinis, and dragon bird cocktails. Definitely going to return!

Great atmosphere with an incredible decor in bar area. I wish the whole restaurant was decorated that way but understandable why it's not. The drinks were great and the bar was very lively all the way until closing time.

The food here was so good! But that’s not the only thing I consider when leaving a review. We went for my partners birthday, and I had let the server know before hand, and they assured me something would be done for it. Nothing was done about it so I called the manager and mentioned what happened. They said they would send me a coupon for my next visit and took down my email and they dropped that ball as well. It’s super yummy, but be aware that you won’t receive top notch quality service, so I would reconsider if you’re looking to spend a special occasion with someone special.

Went out for a friend’s birthday and had an amazing time. Ambiance was top notch. Bar was super busy but probably because people were hoping a table will open up to get seated. You absolutely have to make a reservation. Especially if you want to sit in a specific section. The patio is lovely on a nice night, but we ended up sitting in the conservatory close to the bar. The bar is gorgeous with faux wisterias hanging down from the ceiling, making it a pretty spit for a selfie.

Drinks were good.
But the food was even better.
Everything my friends and I ordered we loved. All with beautiful presentation and with good service. But the star of the show was my lasagna!!!!

I am not a lasagna eater at all! In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever had traditional lasagna. Not into ground meat of any kind.
But this specific lasagna caught my attention and I just had to try it. And so glad I did!
It’s made with beef short ribs! And it’s to die for!!!! Honestly the picture does not do it justice. I loved it so much that I couldn’t stop thinking about it for two weeks and went back in on a date to enjoy some more! 😂

Went for a friend's birthday dinner and everything was amazing. Our server was friendly and helpful. She gave us food and drink recommendations. She was attentive and provided great service. The food and drinks were amazing. This was my first visit but it won't be my last.

Visited The Select tonight to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. This OTP restaurant did not disappoint as we enjoyed appetizers to dessert and all the things in between. As a matter of fact, my daughter said she’d return just for the Cheesecake saying it was the best she’d had in a long time. The Select offers a great patio as well as a magical indoor setting to suit the vibe you’re feeling for the day. Tonight they offered live music which was pleasant once the acoustics were fixed. Initially the music was so loud we couldn’t hear one another speak but the manager swiftly fixed the issue once notified. Our server checked on us plenty without being overbearing or rushing us through our meal. The menu offered a large variety of options with allergy friendly options. It was worth the drive for us - meaning we’ll return - and would recommend you give them a try!

We made a reservation and got seated fairly quickly. The restaurant and bar side were packed for a Sunday at noon. We soon found out why!!! The food was amazing ! The Eggs Benedict were by far the best anywhere in Atlanta and the French toast was literally a 12 out of 10. Better than any I have had in all my travels! One of our friends had the chicken sandwich which she said was a little dry and it looked very plain compared to what we were all eating but plain works for some people!. The French Onion soup was a little too salty but ridiculously delicious anyway! I hesitated to give this a 4 star and not 5 because our server was not at all friendly. She seemed very put out have to be working is the only way to describe it. She may just have been having a bad morning. I will say, while waiting for our table we had a quick cocktail at the bar and the bartender serving that day was super attentive and friendly to everyone around the very packed bar. We are so looking fwd to coming back to The Select in the very near future! Amazing food and great vibe. Perfect for girls get togethers or date night.

It was our first time at this popular restaurant which is located near beautiful City Springs park. On weekends you better come but early cuz parking spots are limited. You can park the vehicle and they will validate the parking ticket however the parking was free where we parked our car. Reservations are a must if and we booked ours in the starting of week to reserve table for weekend. We chose to eat at outdoor seating which was on one side of the restaurant on not on main patio but it was okay. We saw people sitting inside the restaurant using phone lights to read the menu and eat the food as well(seems inside lights were too dim) Our server and manager of the restaurant David was friendly and courteous. He made our night! Our entrees came bit late so he compensated with free desert. The lobster arancini was the best dish I had on menu. It was delicious and different. We also had roasted chicken which was too salty for us and lamb burger which was delicious. Also we had sticky toffee pudding which was mouthwatering delicious. It’s a MUST TRY! Would definitely try this place again.
