Worth the detour for any foodie!

Got the fried shrimp and Cod platter with fries. It was very good! Overall it was a clean restaurant, with great service, and great food! Not a bad "hole in the wall" place to stop and eat.

Very friendly wait staff. Food was fine for a mainly seafood joint (which is what we got). Saw a lot of others getting pizzas.

We have had great lunch and dinner at Melody's Coastal Cafe in Midway GA. We lived the desert too. This is a great place to eat and have some family fun. Also if you want a little adult time!

Food was above expectations. Like, way above! It's Midway, I wasn't expecting food that good. They aren't earning any Michelin stars but it was good. The waitress did an ok job of keeping up with our needs.

UPDATE: The burrito was exceptional! The onion stings were cooked so much I only ate one. Waitress was same as before and kept up with our needs pretty well

Found Poutine. Never expected to see this on a southern menu. Loaded with melted cheese curds and bacon. Nice runny egg. The barkeep was friendly and the kitchen was fast. Cool ambiance. No happy hour though on food or beer.

So far I've been there 3 times. Tried the red, white and blue burger, the giro and just had the meatball sub. All have been excellent. The meatball sub might be my favorite so far. I couldn't even finish the sub and I wanted too but I just couldn't I was so full. The staff is super friendly and service was quick for lunch. Definitely a place to go.

This a great small business the food was fresh and tasty. The service was friendly. Highly recommend.

This was a quaint little offering, down home feel, Fair prices, good taste. We're out of shrimp and mahi-mahi..... so I had the beer batter cod and coleslaw and onion stringers.

Food is consistently good and reasonably priced. Nice salad bar. Fish and chips is a huge piece of cod.
