Perks Coffee

Perks has such an amazing atmosphere! The owner, John, is very friendly, warm and welcoming. As are the staff! We have always been greeted upon entering the shop. The service is quick and easy. They have a variety of espressos to choose from, a beautiful deli refrigerator full of pastries and savory food items. They also have a wide range of non-espresso beverages and snacks! They place emphasis on supporting local companies like Rev Coffee. They also brew Caribou Coffee, one of our favorites!! The atmosphere is very urban and relaxed. With subway tile, wood and metal finishes, it is the perfect vibe! I am a graduate student and enjoy going to Perks to study. It is a quiet atmosphere with great ambiance. In addition, something I really appreciate are all of the outlets around the shop. It makes it easier to spend a length of time at the shop to get work done! They provide free refills on their black drip coffee (yes, it's true!!). One last thing, they have a 20% student discount here (SCORE!!), thanks, John!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Very service oriented.

Friendly service and great food options. I love that they have plenty of healthy options to choose from. I can't speak for the taste of their coffee, as I'm not a coffee drinker, however they have a large selection of coffee drinks. The cafe itself has a great atmosphere with rustic decor and is very clean.

Love this spot - they make a great cortado. I come in here a lot to get work done and having power outlets at every booth is underrated! Super clean inside and out as well, definitely the best coffee shop in the local area.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The owner and the staff are so nice and welcoming. The coffee and the food are amazing. I only wish they stayed open longer.

This is my first negative review and it saddens me to have to do this but I feel a responsibility to warn others lest they fall prey like I did. Coffee is was acceptable. They offer Caribou brand coffee which is at this point pretty much grocery store coffee. You would think in the Atlanta area they would easily be able to source something local or at least a little more flavorful. It was just basic - WaWa or Sheetz quality.

The real kicker was that when we asked for items from their menu at 8:30 am on a Friday we were informed that the oven was still heating up and it would “be a while”. So we opted for muffins. Big mistake. After choking down stale muffins, I noticed that there was a few containers of baked goods that someone had just brought in on the counter - from the grocery store!!! So at this point I realize that I’m paying $3 for a stale grocery store muffin, and $2.50 for gas station coffee. Again, this hurts my heart to post but I would expect better from an airport coffee place.

Great Coffee and food!! Many great options to choose from. Quiet and peaceful place to work on your laptop, too! Overall great experience and great customer service. May have found a new spot! :)

Overpriced and underwhelming. I paid $7 for an egg and two slices of cheddar on white bread served on a paper plate. Cortado coffee was good, but not spectacular.

Clean and spacious cafe with a good selection of food items and a fine coffee done however you could want. The main attraction is the seating which is set up with a lot of outlets to enable long work sessions.

I needed a place to study and work during finals and this was the best place! I went from place to place, and found this gem tucked into the corner of Marietta. I had the best breakfast and lunch while there. Will be back!!!
