Cathedral Coffee

Yes, this is a coffee shop in a church building - and it’s great. Friendly, prompt service with our order brought out to our table. Very reasonably priced. They understand the meaning of “hot” for food and beverages. Ample parking with double bays that are really handy if you’re towing (as we were). Very convenient for those traveling through. The building itself is quite new and modern, clearly with the coffee shop designed in from the outset, complete with drive-through if that’s your need. The architecture is interesting - the coffee shop space is designed in a Gothic theme, but the feel is new and airy. Kudos on a job well done! Highly recommended.

A dear friend of mine brought me here for a quick coffee break, saying it is the best coffee place in Macon and was he correct!!

The ambiance of this place was parred excellence! The place inside looked like an old European cathedral! The decor & the chill atmosphere was perfect for a coffee place!

The manager, and the rest of the staff showed excellent service displaying grace and patience!

The Badger Honey iced Coffee was excellent! The next day I came and tried the iced Chai and it was like drinking cold dessert in a cup! I LOVED it!

I highly recommend this coffee joint! If I lived in Macon, I would most probably be visiting this coffee place every day! Loved it that much!!

Lovely little shop. Coffee is a mild with strong fruity notes. Happy to have happened across it on our way south. Very helpful and respectful barista.

Coffee was good. Price is decent. But this grilled cheese isn’t really grilled now is it.

Beautiful space and yummy coffee. I love the high ceilings, natural lighting, and calm feel to the room. The only thing that would make it better would be some rugs to deflect noise! They also have some nice outdoor seating.

This place is AWESOME! Only coffee shop on I-475 so don't miss this stop. Easy access from interstate with a drive thru when I'm in a hurry. Best grilled cheese sandwich in Macon. My favorite drink is the iced caramel macchiato. My favorite pastry is the raspberry white chocolate scone.

It's always a very serene place. There are usually some students studying over a latte. Tons of space with individual tables accomodating up to 12, as well as several 4 chair spots and enclaves providing a bit of privacy. A cushioned sofa and sidechairs face the fireplace. Guests may opt to dine outside; Every sandwich I've ordered was exceptional. Two high quality commercial expresso machines offer a wide variety of coffees. I recently tried coffee from Ethiopia. The unique archetecture truly reminds one of a spacious cathedral of coffee shops. You will be treated well.

Excellent staff! I forgot to get my receipt for business expenses and they went above and beyond to send it to me. The coffee is strong and good.
