Love the coffee and atmosphere! It can be a wait sometimes, but it's okay, plus it's a small business, so not a huge staff. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing spell on my laptop here because it's very little seating and I don't want to occupy seats. My favorite coffee shop!! Great food too!!

My wife, daughter and I stopped for lunch. Coffee was excellent and the sandwiches were very well prepared. Nice little coffee shop on waterfront.

Alcove Coffee is an OK coffee shop - but do not go there if you're just looking for good coffee.
Pros:
The atmosphere is cozy. The indoor seating has a large window that looks over the lake. I saw many turtles swimming in the water below!
There is also lovely outdoor seating.
Cons:
The coffee is not good. I've been there twice and each time the coffee was made incorrectly and did not taste good.
The first time I ordered an iced pour over - the coffee had too much ice and too much water and was very weak.
The second time I ordered a regular pour-over. The staff gave me coffee from the pot instead and it was very bitter and stale. Even a good dose of half-and-half could not save it.
Conclusion:
I really want to love this place and be able to visit it again and again for the lovely atmosphere and good location, but I do not want to spend $$ on undrinkable coffee. Alcove Coffee could benefit from retraining their baristas and using fresher/higher-quality coffee.

Very cute. I love the lake views! Service was a bit lacking but there were some really creative drink options that were delicious! I enjoyed the iced lavender green tea and I liked the honey almond latte as well.

You gotta love a place with friendly service, great coffee, etc. and views like this!

This is a nice coffee shop on a lake whose coffee is probably the best in the area. However, there's not very much inside seating, and the outside seating is largely uncovered, so if it starts raining you might not want to go there expecting a place to sit and drink your coffee.

Love this place always, great atmosphere and coffee...the spicy turkey is my fav sandwich.. Sooo good! The staff is awesome and I also really like how they are with covid precautions, mask etc. It really makes me feel safe to visit! Thanks Stacey! You rock 😊

Very pleasant coffeeshop! The view over the lake is beautiful, especially in fall when the leaves start changing. $5 got me a large hot tropical green tea, an everything bagel, and cream cheese (compare that to $7 at Starbucks). The staff was very friendly. The only downside to Alcove is that being a small facility, when it's full it's also noisy. Between the espresso machine, music, patrons socializing, and clicking laptop keys, I had to focus pretty hard to read the book I brought along. Despite that, I will be returning in the future!

Such a great coffee spot! The food and drinks are much better than chains. The prices are also less than Starbucks. They have a great lake view and the employees are nice.

I've been coming to Alcove since they opened their Lake Lucerne location. The coffee is always great. The tea is great too. My nieces love the smoothies, and their sandwiches and soups are amazing! The location is awesome, you will love the atmosphere here.
