Alcove Coffeehouse

The view makes this one of the best coffee shops in the Atlanta metro. The main sitting room overlooks a lake. Fantastic place to relax with friends or meet a new person for the first time.

The coffee was good and is served in a giant coffee mug almost more like a soup bowl with a handle.

Sweet little coffee spot! They serve Dancing Goats coffee which I'm a big fan of! They have a monster size, delicious cream cheese danish, and you can enjoy everything, overlooking a peaceful view of the lake! Stop by and give it a try!

What a view! Wonderfully pearched next to the lake this charming little coffee house serves the following: sandwiches, soups, coffees, and tea. I stopped by for lunch while doing delivery work. Well worth it and on a wonderful day.

the atmosphere is nice, but there's not a ton of seating. the coffee is good but not outstanding. you may end up waiting a bit for someone to take our order. it's a great place to meet a friend for a chat.

The coffee was OK but do not order food I’d like to see they’re understaffed bug even the stuff to stay at work for a slow it took us over 45 minutes to get bagels and a tiny pancakes

Great place to stop by, get a quick cup of coffee or! Get your coffee, go out side enjoy the scenery of the lake, take a deep breath before you hit the road!

The other day I called ahead to see if they had banana nut muffins (DELICIOUS), the lady who answered said they were out... Later she called me back & left me a voicemail telling me she actually found 2 muffins in the back & let me know what time they closed in case I wanted to come by... She was so sweet, you don't get that with chains!
I also love being by the view of the lake & there caramel macchiatos is 1 of the best I've ever had! This is where you should get your coffee!

Overpriced, middling coffee. The view was better, and that's free.

Update: I didn't even mention the horrible customer service, but her response here covers that pretty well. I don't need to be told what I'd prefer. I know coffee. Just do the order right. Plenty of other coffee shops in the area with better coffee and better service.

Great coffee shop with gorgeous views of Lake Lucerne. Barista was really friendly and white mocha was perfect. Cool outdoor space overlooking the lake if you want to hang.

I have been coming to this location for almost one year. Very good coffee.

We all have had days that are challenging. Before judging and giving up, give it another try. It may work out in your favor and you'll be well pleased. We don't know the struggles people are experiencing.
