This place was awesome. They had homemade pastries and great coffee. I had the lavender- honey latte and my wife had a cappuccino.

How have I not reviewed the Harlem Java House yet?? It's absolutely amazing! The owner and staff are fantastic, but that wouldn't mean a thing if the coffee wasn't good. Luckily, the coffee is simply outstanding! And they always have locally-created treats on hand. It's worth the extra drive to go there instead of the bland 'big' coffee chains. Once you go, you won't want anything else!

Always get a salted Carmel with whip and chocolate drizzle Frappuccino. Great service and coffee is excellent. Nice local atmosphere. A must try. Also bought some lotion. Great local items for you to purchase.

Yeah yeah, Starbucks is cool and all, but Harlem Java house is better! How you ask? Well, the small town charm and cozy atmosphere are in full effect. Parking is tight, but a short walk from a nearby parking lot/spot is worth it. On the front door you'll see that the business is Women Veteran Owned. Being a Veteran myself, I take pride in supporting other Veterans and especially small Veteran owned businesses.
When you walk in, life immediately slows down and you forget about the hustle and bustle of the "real world." I'm not a "hard core" coffee drinker by any stretch of the imagination and when I get coffee it's to drink it and move on. The Harlem Java House atmosphere makes me want to slow down, have a seat, sip on my drink and relax for a spell.
There are small locally crafted items and pictures for sale. There are also some small sweet treats and apparel. My favorite drinks are the Java Chip Frappuccino and Cold Brew with the caramel bourbon add in.
Stop by, sit a spell and support a local Veteran owned small business!

Cutest little coffee shop. Many options. Best quiche ever!! Nice place to sit and drink your coffee, too.

Really cool coffee shop, homey and rustic feeling. The staff are friendly, they have ice cream, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and more. They have a larger table to sit at and have a group gathering, or a couch if you just want to come chill. They also have plenty of tables and a TV if you want a distraction. Veteran owned and operated. They've done a lot to the building to enhance the atmosphere - I highly recommend you check it out if you are in town!

This is by far the best java house I’ve ever been to. Their cold brew is so good and even their frappe! It’s not overly, sickening sweet like all other coffee places. This was my first time here and definitely not the last!

The Java House is a great, veteran owned and operated coffee house. Very laid back and chill environment. First time going and my whole family was treated like regulars. Very good experience all around and HIGHLY recommend. They also have black rifle coffee if you’re into that. First coffee shop I’ve ever seen that offers their coffee and apparel!

My server Madisyn was so sweet.

It’s ok. Was pretty disappointed my toasted bagel was hardly toasted and came out AFTER other items we ordered that took longer to prepare did. Tried this place once before and got a smoothie, it wasn’t good we ended up tossing them. The gals at the front seemed more concerned with their conversation than paying attention to the customer when asked for things.
