Inman Perk Coffee - Gainesville

Don’t believe the negative reviews. Came 4 mornings in a row, and I love this place. Sometimes you do have to wait. They are definitely short staffed, and on top of that, the employees look like they are college kids. Absolutely nothing wrong with any of that. If anything, they should raise their prices a little and offer a higher wage to be able to hire more college kids. The coffee is very good, the food is good. They have a good thing going. Everyone who served me this week did a tremendous job. I wish I lived closer, I would be a regular.

The coffee is salty, first time ever that I had a coffee like this. I couldn’t drink it, and I am a coffee lover. I tried the espresso shots, then a pumpkin spice latte. The breakfast burrito was almost almost, inedible. A green tortilla that tasted really weird , so I opened it and I tried to only eat the eggs and sausage inside and then threw away the tortilla. The egg sandwich didn’t taste like anything, in other words I can’t recommend it.

We stayed the weekend in Gainesville and came back to Inman Perk twice, both visits were delicious. Yesterday we tried the iced chai and Vietnamese cold brew. My husband had the cold brew and it was so good I came back the next day to get one myself. I added some vanilla syrup to sweeten it a bit and totally recommend doing that if you prefer a sweeter taste. We also got the egg white croissant and avocado toast, both were fresh and delicious as well. Kind of sad Inman is a 4 hour drive from our home because I’d come back often otherwise. The staff was also super helpful when it came to grinding coffee beans for us and answering any questions we had. The interior is cute, but I particularly loved the front patio area that is gated in but still provides a cute view of downtown.

I didn’t get a chance to stay inside and enjoy the wonderful warmth away from the storm that was going on outside, but it was a super wonderful coffee shop that had great staff who could answer any questions I had. I was going south back towards home and wanted to try a local coffee shop so I drove about 10 minutes off the highway to get to the shop.

The prices were not that bad. I ordered the Mexican spiced mocha, and the caramel Frappuccino. They were both super delicious and helped me get through the rest of my ride home. I unfortunately won’t visit this location unless I happen to be going north again, but I will more than likely check out the ATL spot just because I live closer to that.

The town is going through some construction on some of the roads while I’m currently typing this, but it’s nothing too disruptive.

The vibe here is great! If you are looking for a quiet place to maybe do some homework or have a meeting I would say this is the place. I ordered an iced praline latte with white mocha it was great! Love this place and will definitely be back!

This is a 5 star coffee shop! Even the people that go there are 5 star! Such a great friendly place to meet locals and enjoy a great beverage or meal! Warning, if you like starbucks, this place will have you breaking up with them :) This is what gourmet coffee should taste like. Plus they have a ton of sugar free flavors!!

I feel like the experience you get really depends on who is working. I work right outside the square so will come in before work occasionally but mostly on weekends and have met some of the sweetest baristas who made amazing drinks, and others not so much. They definitely are short staffed, I feel so bad when I see it’s only 2 workers and a line out the door so be kind. I don’t really know names because I’m usually in and out but on weekends I usually see a girl with a navy boston hat and tattoos, and a girl with shorter black hair and glasses. They are amazing and so kind. You know you will have good service when you see them. There are a few others I love and a few I’m not a fan of service wise. Overall, if you have a bad experience it was probably who was working at the time so definitely come back and try again!

I absolutely love coming here! Everyone is super friendly and kind! My drink/food is always perfect and the atmosphere is great for letting me live out my dream of being a cute cafe girl in a romance novel (minus the romance-so far)

I gave it 2 stars for the coffee. The service was terrible. We watched 4 customers come in and be totally ignored until they walked out. The avocado toast was terrible. There were no prices on the board to help guide you in your decision. I was very disappointed. But hey the coffee was good.

Good coffee & I love the front porch! The lighting & ambiance is so relaxing.
