Coffee Break

I wish I could give this nightmare of a business ZERO stars. What a shame that this place exists in Dahlonega where everyone is so friendly. Please do everyone a favor and close so normalcy can return. That is clearly the fate of Coffee Break due to the consistent rudeness of this elderly woman who gave my wife and elderly mother-in-law the same "you need to buy something" treatment and shooed them away.

So this is a funny story..kind of.
I was browsing around town and stumbled upon this coffee shop. I then noticed a cat, as a cat owner, I am going to pet any cat I see. So I start petting this cat and I go to walk into the coffee shop and this lady (the owner) starts yelling at me saying that I’m stealing her cat...

If I could rate this coffee shop it would be a 0.

The place is a mess on the inside and out. The service is terrible and not customer friendly. I'm not sure how this is considered a business. The coffee is that which you would expect from a vending machine at a rest stop, not worth the money or time. I was left feeling uncomfortable and unsatisfied from my visit here.

I thought about leaving an awful review, then thought not, but after reading plenty of others I can confirm that the people who run this place are extremely rude and unwelcoming. It is bizarre that it is still running. DO NOT give these people your business!

I wish someone would print all the negative reviews and sent them to the city so they can close the business. My girlfriend and I wanted to check the coffee shop but the mean lady close the door on us !

I can't tell you how the coffee if because they are almost always closed. I approached the door once when the gate was unlocked but the Wicked Witch from the West came out and chased me away.

Nasty old lady told us if we were not going to buy coffee that we could not come in. Then she called us stupid! She was so awful all we could do is laugh as we left. Zero stars!!!!

Is this a cover operation for something else? The lady will not let you go in this shop unless you promise to buy a cup of coffee (before entering!) So strange...

Don't bother going in. Owner very rude we walked out and had the world's best coffee at Dahlonega General Store🤣

Good combination of coffee and antique shop. The lady seemed nice and friendly and the prices are alot better than Starbucks lol
