Came to meet for a job interview. I asked for a black coffee. They gave me a black coffee, the house blend. It was good. Not too strong. Not bitter.

Excellent service, food and coffee. Great location and just a great atmosphere. It fits well in the downtown area.

Star who??? This place is where it is at. Great pastries, great coffee, great beer. I will say the labor here is incredibly disorganized. I have worked in a lot of kitchens. I did not see a single employee who would fit in either a professional kitchen or a Starbucks. Their was a lot of time spent over communicating about orders. And less time spent making orders. For a place as established as this, that is not a good sign. The product is good. The systems in place cause more confusion than needed for the staff. 30 minutes waiting for a coffee is not the standard for any coffee joint.

So came in again. Completely different vibe of professionalism among the staff. The line was smaller. Hard to tell if that is from lower sales or faster service. The dining room seemed just as full. Had pumpkin pie. It was very good.

I love doing homework here. Clean, great atmosphere to be productive. Staff are super helpful, coffee is impressive. Will be back!

An uptown gem, and Caroline behind the register was super sweet and welcoming.

Good selection of coffee/snacks/appetizers/pastries and sandwiches. Plenty of room in the main portion of the coffee shop, benches and long tables. Also several small rooms scattered about for meeting areas, and some seating outside. Excellent place the student/intern/resident/fellow to study study study.

Our first time visiting this wonderful place for lunch. I ordered a salad and my husband order the vegetarian pesto toasted sandwich. Taylor the person who took our order was extremely friendly and also the rest of the staff. The service and food was excellent! Highly recommend this place for lunch.

Very good location, but its a coffee shop they should sell better tasting coffee drinks. And better customer service at the register and pick up window.
