I’d like to go ahead and say good luck to anyone wanting to try this place. My family and I waited for an hour to be seated which was understandable due to a sign stating the cafe was short staffed. We were seated by a very kind waitress, but then waited for our food for an hour. The food came out incredibly cold and the waitress stated that the owner would like to come out and speak to us about a discount. Before we could even speak, the owner said with a major attitude, “so I heard there’s a problem.” My stepdad asked, “a problem?” And the owner said “we can recook your meal or you can leave. It’s that simple.” We were shocked by her response. I asked her if she was kicking us out and she sarcastically said no. I told her I’ve never had a manager speak to a party like this. And she made it a point that she was the owner and not the manager. Even more embarrassing for an owner to act like this. My family and I walked out. Clearly these good reviews are fooling us and are solely from locals. This owner does not think twice about tourists. Like I said from the beginning, good luck.

Our original plans for Sunday brunch got cancelled, so we headed here instead. Boy am I glad we did! There was a bit of a wait (seems that everyone that was planning on our original spot headed here, too), but it was so worth it. Service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. Steak Omelette was perfect, and the French toast and home fries suited it very well. Everything else at the table looked wonderful too. As the other reviews suggest, definitely get an Omelette! Best I've ever had. I'll definitely be back next time I visit Blue Ridge!

Clip It Up With The Sweets

Great food! It took quite a while to get ordered and get our food but it was completely understandable. There was a sign upon entering stating that they were understaffed and it was a Saturday morning so it was pretty busy. I'm not sure what our waitresses name was but it looked like she was covering almost every table by herself and doing it exceptionally under the circumstances. I think she was even bussing tables. There was another girl doing a lot as well. We visited on Saturday November 20th, 2021 so if the owner or manager sees this she deserves a raise or at the least a pat on the back! But once again, the food was great!

Short-staffed but very attentive, friendly service. Expect a short wait time. Food is prepared well but just standard diner fare.

We had a larger party so we had a bit of a wait but the food was good and the staff was friendly. My husband and I split two entrees because we couldn't choose! So I highly recommend the three pancake bacon stack and the Blue Ridge Benedict. Both were so good!

The food was just OK the BLT I received had only 2 pieces of bacon and 1 small slice of tomato, my son ordered a side of mac n chez and that had to be the worst looking m&c I have ever seen, I mean at least bake it so the shredded cheese melts with the milk n butter. Needless to say he didn't eat it and my husband had to trade him for this tater tots.

Went on a Tuesday morning. Had the southwestern omelet with home fries and biscuit. Everything was good but the biscuit was great!!!!
