There's not a lot of options for places to eat in blue ridge so the places that are open get busy. This place regularly has a long wait on the weekends. When short-staffed, you just have to know to write your name on the wait list yourself. And there's not a lot of room to wait outside either.
The food is standard fare breakfast. I got a ham&cheese omelet with a pancake. It was perfectly fine...exactly what I expected.
My only complaints were with the wait time and waiting area. But in this location, there's not a lot the owners can do about that. Yet it's still a factor worth mentioning for anybody wanting to know what to expect from this establishment.

I have now visited twice and enjoyed both times. The staff is friendly and fast. I had breakfast and the food was well prepared and fast. When I had lunch I had the Tuna Melt and it was fantastic with really fresh tuna salad. The green beans with the sandwich were awesome. Very well spiced with lots of pepper.

Delicious food!! Staff were very friendly and the food not over priced at all! I would highly recommend the triple bacon stack( add chocolate chips and powdered sugar)!!! I promise you wont regret it!!

Delicious homecook breakfast. I recommend their pancakes. They were super fluffy and moist. I didn't like how they cook my bacon extra crispy. I guess some people like it like that. Cute breakfast stop.

We were with a group of nine, service was good, we had breakfast, could have been better. They add an extra charge to your bill, if you use a credit or debit card.

Not a very friendly place. We wanted to try something local, but I wouldn't recommend this spot. We got the impression that if you're local, you're more than welcome, but if you're vacationing here and the staff doesn't recognize you, you're not welcome. We didn't even get a hello for 20 minutes.

Not the best. Eggs Benedict wasn't done correctly, yolks were cooked all the way through, and we felt nauseous after. Service was good though.

Dear Horrific Management,
First of all it's "you're" when you're saying "you are". "Your" means something that belongs to that person, your book, your review, your horrible diner. Not "if your going to act like that". If your WHAT is going to act like that?
And more importantly, YOUR reply is NOT the way to treat customers. YOU'RE not supposed to be understanding and possibly apologetic!
You DO want every customer to feel welcomed and have a great experience. You DO want good reviews and recommendations. You DON'T want to tell customers you don't want them there anyway, and call them names. I certainly hope you don't continue responding to customer complaints with your nastiness and vitriol. If you do, I hope you go out of business! Soon!!!
