Café Dulce

I liked it! Was in a rush and didn’t have much time to take everything in, but I had no complaints.

Delightful! Atmosphere is calm and modern, coffee was delicious, and the custard everything you want from a sweet treat! The dessert case looked fantastic but I could only fit so much at one time. The pastry case was also tempting and fresh made in store.

You can buy custard by the pint which is reason enough to stop by. You won't be disappointed, a must try!

The cinnamon roll and cheesecake are delish. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich is great as well,
although it is a small sandwich (at least for me it is). The space is nice too. A great spot to sit down and chat over coffee and dessert.

I wanted to try out a new local coffee stop, as a change from the usual Starbucks or Dunkin run. I had high hopes from looking at the pictures on Google. However, I was not greeted when I walked in the establishment, despite there being plenty of employees present and only one other customer. In addition, once I got to the counter to order, it took an employee about 2-3 minutes to come take my order. I ordered a carmella lattee and a croissant. The latte was sub-par and the taste declined as I continued to drink it. They didn't have many unique flavor options or drinks either. My latte came out first, and I waited about 5 more minutes for my croissant, which I was confused about because they didn't communicate when the rest of the order would come out. I also asked for a cup of water with my order, which didn't come out. I went back up to the counter to ask for it, which took them another couple minutes to get ready. I also noticed one of the employees had an airpod in while they were working, which doesn't seem professional. The atmosphere was neither very welcoming nor hospitable given the attitude from the employees.

Really wanted to like this place but the employees attitudes are not pleasant at all. Enough to not make me want to go back. The only reason I’m even giving 3 stars is because of the manager Asher. She was extremely helpful and kind.
For a new establishment, customer service and how you treat your patrons is so important.
So if you want to be treated like an inconvenience this is the place for you. Bummer.

This place is a great little hidden gem!! The custard is yummy, the coffee is amazing, and everyone here is always so pleasant and friendly. 😊 and the little rooftop patio is adorable! I come here all the time since I found it, I love this place!

To all people who love European/Korean types of dessert that are moist, semi-sweet, and melting in the mouth, you HAVE TO visit this place and try red velvet or tiramisu. (I have only tried these two desserts and can not recommend enough.) I have been looking for a place like this for a long time. I have not tried their frozen custard, but I am going to next time. (I'll update my review.) They have outdoor area upstairs, as well as indoor with many tables, outlets, station with cream, sugar, etc. Both times I got Americano as my drink choice; I can not say much about it because I'm not coffee savvy. I liked it and I drank it black to balance the sweetness of the dessert.
P.s. I was hesitant to get red velvet because I had too many disappointing red velvets in cafes around the U.S., but the person behind the counter felt my hesitation and explained that red velvet is not crazy sweet, and it does not taste as typical American cake. Thank you!

So so tasty! Ample seating and a drive thru option. I've tried a few different desserts, a custard, and coffees and nothing disappoints

Very good coffee shop! Augusta has needed this for years! Great atmosphere, good food, and of course coffee too!
